Pleasant hotel stay for the weekend near to a wedding reception venue.
Pros:

The breakfast was very nice.

Cons:

We had a very sleepy bathroom door and the room was quite hot despite having the fan on all night and the windows open.

2 night stay, midweek £242.85. I wouldn’t recommend at this time.
Pros:

The setting and room sizes

Cons:

Our stay at the Lismoyne Hotel was OK, but there were some niggling issues which meant it wasn’t great.
Firstly, when greeted at reception, being asked to pay £5 a night for the privilege of parking there isn’t great and gives a detrimental impression. Don’t do it. Admittedly it is a relatively small amount, but don’t do this for your resident guests.
There are no 3 pin plug sockets near the head of the bed. Crucial for any guest that has to use a medical device , also a nice to have for any other electrical plug in items. A request to reception for an extension lead produced a puzzled look and the offer of a USB cable but nothing else.
The bathroom was tatty, mouldy and had shower facilities that would not be out of place in a run down public swimming pool.
It’s a shame because the room sizes and beautiful setting could be associated with a sophisticated, comfortable, stylish environment, but this isn’t it.

Pros:

Loved the outside of the building. Really pretty.
The room was serviced every day.

Cons:

I was positioned next to a generator. It was noisy. Also the room was extremely hot.
When I used the fan it wafted the dust around which made me cough a bit.
There was mould on the bottom of the picture.

I grew up in Fleet and attended the New Year Balll at the Lismoyne on the eve of 31. December 1963 .
Pros:

Being ghiven a ground floor room because of my poor mobility. The restaurant was excellent! When the heat wave happened I got a fan for my room. reception was a great help booking taxis.

Cons:

With the heat there was a problem getting cold water from the bathroom tap and the shower - making the shower almost scaslding!
