Coral Teide Mar

La habitación estaba muy bien, tenía nevera y microondas junto con menaje.
En el desayuno tenían leche de soja

Todo el personal muy atento, buena ubicación y viene a cambiarte las toallas y hacer un repaso de limpieza

No se podía descansar mucho ruidos no nos cambiaron las toallas ni un día holi fatal en todo el alojamiento la picna rota muchos huecos en el fondo y sucia da mucho que desear no volvería

Unfortunately this hotel was not a good hotel. We spent all of our time away from the hotel in the town or paying to use another facilities pool.
The room to start with was very tired and had holes in the wall behind the bed and in the skirting boards etc, the toilet was not fully attached to the wall. If you’re booking this hotel please note that they don’t have air con like they advertised, and no hairdryer. We went to reception to ask about this and was given a fan which we had to pay a £20 deposit on and was given a hair dryer but told ‘if they need it back they’ll call our room’ If these were advertised as part of the room they should be provided, when it’s very hot you want a hotel with air con so this was disappointing.
The pool, was also tired and the sun loungers were all stained. The pool was only open 10-5/6 and the bar (which is located at the pool) closed then too, meaning there was no opportunity to have an evening at the hotel as there’s no drinks or any entertainment.
I understand you get what you pay for, but in this particular hotel, i don’t think you do as it’s missing the basics!
The rooms are no smoking, completely understandable, but you cannot smoke on the balcony either.
If you book a double room as a couple you get 2 single beds.
The location of the hotel is walkable to the town and beach or a short taxi drive which was good.
We won’t be returning to this hotel, but the area it’s located in we will.
I don’t usually leave reviews but this hotel needs improvement.

As I sit here on my final day at Teide mar, I'm trying to think of all the positives to this hotel.

So, here goes. The room was very clean and had almost everything we needed. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

We never struggled for a sun lounger by the pool. And the view from the balcony was very nice, both sea and mountains.

Now, for the less appealing things. There are a lot of building works happening all over the hotel, our floor alone had 6 rooms being very loudly refurbished from about 8am week days. We were only told about this 4 days prior to our arrival, we would have changed hotels given more notice! There are a lot of no tourist banners on the balconies, the local residents don't like us being here.

The room was a little shabby, the curtains didn't close fully, the shower head needed to be replaced, as it had no direction of flow, to run the bath both the tap and shower were on at the same time, this couldn't be changed. The bath and shower area are very small so if you're over 5'6" you'll struggle.

The pool is warm but in a bit of a sorry state, lots of missing floor tiles and it's much smaller then the photos would have you believe. The pool bar, when open was okay with reasonable prices. There is no entertainment at all, so be prepared to go out every night.

The room has NO air conditioning or double glazing so you're either very hot all night or kept awake by the noise in the area!

If you hire a car as we did, the parking in the area is very difficult. There is a free public car park at the end of the road about a 6-7 minute walk away.

The hotel is in a good location for bars, restaurants and markets, we would recommend going to the golfing restaurant around the corner, the food was amazing. We have had a lovely stay but Teide mar won't be our chosen place to return to.

The hotels around looked a lot more appealing so look around before booking here.

Overall we had a lovely stay. We we’re here for 4 nights. The room was spotless and the staff were really helpful. We had an issue with our Wi-Fi a couple of days in and it was sorted straight away. The beds were really comfy and we had a lovely view of the pool. The location was good but if you wanted to go down to the beach and the busier area you had to walk down 235 steps (my daughter decided to count them). We did this daily and found it ok, but if you have mobility issues it could be a problem.

Just returned from a week here. It was my 4th time at this hotel over the last few years, and unfortunately the most disappointing. First off, I cannot fault the staff. They are very very helpful and friendly (as I have experienced in my previous stays, which is 1 of the main reasons we've been there 4 times). However, I'm afraid the condition of the hotel has really gone downhill. I noticed that work is going on to improve things, but the property is starting to look very worn. An example is the stairs. The carpet was filthy and almost threadbare. As I said though, there is work going on, so it's possible that workmen are going up and down them and they are waiting to replace the carpet once done? Also there is breakfast. It was nowhere near as good as previous stays. Although there was the same choices, the "hot" buffet ranged from tepid to cold. Teide mar is a mixture of residents and tourists and there was sheets hanging over the balconies with writing that roughly translates as saying that Teide mar is not a hotel at the front of the building and I think maybe they are in relation to the over tourism protests that are going on within Spain and it's islands, which I agree with to some extent, when residents can't find affordable accommodation because owners just want tourists who will pay a lot more, but it wasn't a good look. Then there is the pool. The surrounding gardens are beautiful and 1 of the reasons we kept going back, but the pool itself is in a very poor condition. There is lots of tiles missing, especially in the shallow area, where children are most likely to use, so a health hazard. This is obviously not news to the hotel, because I saw a Jet2 rep walking around it taking photos, which is not a good sign. I stayed at coral el cotillo last year, so I am not against the brand, but coral you really need to sort this place out. I have booked Puerto de la Cruz for next year, but its not at Teide mar unfortunately, which is ashame. Please get this property back to it's previous standards if you don't want to lose more guests.

La chambre était grande, parfaite pour dormir et aérée.

Le personnel était très aimable que ce soit à la réception tout comme au petit déjeuner, toujours souriants et polis !

Lo único que estaba bien fue la limpieza
