Very cozy hotel. I really liked the location. The ease of parking was also a plus.
The shower isn’t good.
Great location. Cosy hotel.
Tiny room at the top of the house. 3 flights of stairs, no lifts.
Amazing view.
Very welcoming staff.
Clean facilities and comfy bed.
As we had just got married, The hotel upgraded us to a perfect room over looking the harbour. Made our trip even more special

Small soap, no products poor coffee in the room, no breakfast
I am happy with my stay at the Royal Harbour Hotel. It’s perfect for solo travel girls, offering a safe and cozy atmosphere. The staff members are incredibly kind and always ready to help.
L'emplacement est parfait. Nous avons été accueillis par un monsieur très gentil, efficace et disponible.
Good location, great view from the room, lovely house and a great host.
Toiletries mean only soap (no shampoo and shower gel).
Parking is hard to find i
My first impression was that this hotel is tired, outdated, and in serious need of investment. Entry is only possible by ringing a bell, which already sets a poor tone. The reception area consists of creaking wooden floorboards, and the gentleman who handed us our key seemed entirely uninterested in welcoming guests. We were told, quite abruptly, that there is no breakfast service and that a function with loud music would be taking place.
The room itself was extremely basic, with mismatched coat hangers left on a rail. The bathroom was not properly cleaned, the shower never reached a hot temperature, and no flannels were provided, making even a simple wash difficult. When I attempted to request some, I discovered that staff are not present on-site—you have to ring someone to attend, which is unacceptable for a functioning hotel.
Overall, the service was poor, the standards were low, and the experience was deeply disappointing. I would strongly advise against staying here

Safe and warm unusual
Very impersonal strange setup
The host, Richard was lovely, very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The paintings kept us busy the whole stay, as we uploaded QR codes for information on each painting. We referred to it as 'The Art Gallery with beds in'. The building is beautiful, original and welcoming. Our dog was warmly accepted. A fire was lit most evenings and we were well supplied with beverage items, towelling and bedding. The bed itself was the MOST comfortable and roomy bed, the thick mattress and cosy bedding insured a good night's rest. Room service was prompt and nice to come back to.
Being right at the very top of the building with no lift made it challenging when moving cases. We were 5 flights up and the 5th was almost vertical...we were okay but we achieved as much as we could while we were out to minimise the climbs. The room wasn't warm and there was no heat in the bathroom, but Richard remedied that for us with a portable heater. We were aware from the start that this was a 'room only' venture, I understand the reasons for no catering, but to have been able to provide a breakfast would have enhanced our experience.
