Hotel was very nice, clean and the staff were very helpful. Hotel was in a good location to all the areas we wanted to see.
Our rooms were next to the street and starting around 6AM , the traffic nice was horrible, especially the trucks starting out from the intersection. I would only stay there again if our rooms were away from the front street.
Central location
I wanted a light brkfst, (a simple bagel or croissant) but had to buy the buffet.
room was comfortable and quiet
We didn't like the fact that dogs can stay in any room in the hotel. That means I was sleeping in a bed that a dog had slept in the night before. This is common practice at Hilton Gardens Inn. We will not be staying at one in the future. Valet service was not affiliated with the hotel. The valet lost our keys. After a lengthy search they were found. When I ask the front desk about the valet service they told me they have nothing to do with it!
Awesome location
Everything was great
Location was good. Room was spacious.
Front desk was completely inflexible to my problem which was weather at home. Got to Savannah at noon. My room wasn’t ready. Desk told be check-in was 4:00 pm. I told them that I didn’t think I would be checking in because there was a predicted blizzard I was going to be driving into. They didn’t care. Just repeated saying the room is prepaid and nothing they could do. I asked if there was another room ready so that I could at least get some sleep before I continued my journey. NOPE. My assigned room was my assigned room and it wasn’t cleaned yet. It was finally clean at 3:40 pm. I spent 2 hours in the room. Not happy with Booking.com or Hilton.
It was modern, clean, great location, and overall great vibe
That darn Ottman down stairs tore my knee up! 😂
It was my fault I tripped trying to take a picture
Everyone was super nice. Valet person Kiersten was super helpful. Nice to see everything working as it should. Definitely recommend this property while in Savannah.
The room was nice and was clean.
NOISE!!!! was horrid. No corporate employee would accept this room in an attempt to get some sleep. The roadnoise is horrendous. Must work on sound proofing. I've slept in hotels under airplane flight path approach in Dallas/Fort Worth and never heard an airplane in my closed room. This was truly awful.
Location
Charged us $48 for parking without an advance notice and wanted $5 for bottle of water at snack bar, then $18 per person for breakfast
This HGI was fantastic. Room was super clean and comfortable. Elevators , lobby, common areas clean and bright. Breakfast buffet was good as well. Friendly and homey.
Lave was a lifesaver. Finding parking during events in Savannah can be a real headache, especially for an oversize vehicle. He has 100% confidence dealing with any and all vehicles and saved me big time. Definitely recommend using him and his services for any and all parking needs
Monica Johnson assisted me with my checkin she had fabulous customer service. Despite all the confusion with booking she ensured that I received a quality stay at Hilton Garden Inn Savannah Historic District. I can’t wait to return as this was my first time in the city and I have nothing but great things to say about this experience.
Our 3rd time staying here...we found the hotel to be extremely clean and staff very friendly! After many hours of travel, we found at bedtime that it was extremely noisy inside of the hotel as well as outside...dont get a room on the street side! And there was a woman screaming in the hallway near our room! Also there was no coffee k-cups to have a cup of coffee in our room...fortunately the coffee was ready in the lobby! Would still recommend this hotel. As it is centrally located in the historic district
It was a great location, close to the Plant district.
It was quite noisy at night with lots of street traffic.
Localización
Precio excesivo, mal servicio
Amazing location, especially for the price! The staff was wonderful, and as a pet friendly hotel it was really nice to be able to walk very quickly to local attractions and restaurants. Really enjoyed the stay!
