Awful. Avoid this place!

The breakfast was awful - crappy link sausages and scrambled eggs. All I had was a toasted bagel with peanut butter and some dry cereal. Definitely below "basic breakfast."

Cons:

The condition of the room was pathetic. It's clear that this hotel is not being maintained physically. The pictures show the situation best. Our feet were dirty after walking barefoot on the carpet! The water in the shower never got above lukewarm. There were unrepaired maintenance issues in multiple locations around the room. The front desk attendant on checkout needs a new personality. He couldn't be troubled to thank us or smile. Too busy leaning back in his chair. Looked like a homeless guy - unshaven, t-shirt, unkempt hair. One key feature we wanted was a hot tub. Having had previous experiences with hot tubs being closed for maintenance, we even checked the hotel's website to be sure it was not down for maintenance, yet it was closed due to leakage with a handwritten sign posted on the front door of the hotel when we arrived. Our room was on the first floor; the window looked out to a stone wall three feet from the window. We won't be back.

The only good thing about the stay is the location to where we were planning to go.

Cons:

The hotel reeked of marijuana, even from the front desk. Our entire floor smelled like drugs. There was stains all over our room and didn’t look very clean, the staff were not super friendly. The elevator smelled like pee, the pool and hot tub were Ice cold. There was no hot water in our room to shower. Called the front desk about the hot water and checked later, still no hot water. This is the hotel from hell.

Would stay again.
Pros:

Breakfast options were great. Staff made sure the options were replenished timely and tables were cleaned off. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Property appears to be in good condition overall.

Cons:

There was a slight mix-up on the names for the room reservations that were made online but it was resolved by the staff at the front desk. Hot tub was not operational but this was not critical to our family.

We had a good stay it would have been a little better if there was hot water anywhere on the premise

What I liked most was the staff, very helpful and friendly.

Cons:

No hot water in our rooms, made for bathing children difficult as they were very uncomfortable. We also swam in the pool but not for long because it was about 40°, cold enough where my youngest started turning purple after about ten minutes. Last but not least, the hot tub. It was dirty, cold, and there wasn't even enough water in it, that's the only time we asked staff about it and we were ignored.

Been on the road 3 weeks at this point seen my share of strange beds, this was a comfortable stay.
Pros:

Breakfast was par with the usual hotel fare in this price range, decent enough. Location was good for the eastern side of greater Kansas City and the suburb towns there. Any closer things are showing their age pretty badly.
