Rooms were ok, had two big beds, clean and spacious. Kettle in room but coffee was never replenish. No hairdryer (deposit 20 euros at reception and you can borrow it for 2 hours) no balcony and we looked on to the school. They play music calling the kids to school so no long sleeps for us. Traffic starts about 7am and it can be really noisy. We were also above the bar and two nights in a row it was noisy outside until about 4am.
Restaurant was ok, could always find something to eat.
Most of the staff were nice and friendly.
All inclusive stops at 12 on the day of your departure even although we arrived after 11pm on our first night so not really getting 5 days we paid for.
This hotel caters for a lot of elderly Spanish, they think they should be given priority for everything including all the tables in the entertainment room. We spent a lot of time out of the hotel.
Location is really good not far from shops beach and restaurants.
Hotel itself was clean and looked nice rooms was clean and comfortable beds especially if I could of brought it home i would off.
The hotel caters for the Spanish food entertainment is all for them so if your elderly and Spanish would be a perfect hotel sadly we arnt food was awful pigs trotters left overs mold in the cheese i lived on cheess rolls
Was happy when saw sausge bacon egg ect but sadly didnt taste good sausage was gritty and everything tastes like coated in some sort of oil
plates wasn't very clean obviously all done in a machine so that didnt bother me as not the staffs fault just got a clean 1
Staff was ok cleaners was friendly rest didnt really bother with us
Entertainment was 99% just Spanish old songs to dance too
Spanish guests was so rude they would push you out the way like they was better than us treated us like 2nd class citizens 😒
Where do I even begin with this place? Let’s just say if “magical” in the hotel’s name refers to the way your expectations vanish into thin air it’s truly magical. What I actually experienced was a full immersive performance Residential care home: 1907 edition.
First off, if you enjoy hearing the phrase “no possible” at every given moment, this is the place for you.
Extra pillow? No possible.
Working lift? No possible.
Late check out? No possible.
Basic joy? Also, apparently, no possible.
The décor can only be described as “Edwardian Waiting Room Chic which screams “time capsule from 1975,” if that time capsule was left in a dusty attic and forgot it existed. Wallpaper that’s seen two world wars, curtains heavy enough to block out the sun, the walls are cracked and furniture looks like it’s straight from a bargain basement haunted mansion.
All-inclusive, they said. Endless buffet, they said. What I got was a culinary mystery tour with surprisingly limited variety, undercooked meat that looked confused, and drinks machines that refused to dispense anything unless you begged nicely.
Now, let’s discuss the housekeeper situation. I walked into the corridor wearing my perfectly respectable holiday wig (humidity is no joke in Benidorm), and the housekeeper actually laughed. Not a polite chuckle. A full-bodied, shoulder-shaking laugh. I’ve never felt so personally victimised by a cleaning trolley.
The lifts deserve their own documentary. Slow, old and cramped so get used to limping down seven flights of stairs because they act like they’re on strike and require more patience than a saint with a slow internet connection. We once waited so long I considered growing old and retiring there.
And any issue raised at reception was met with the now-legendary phrase: “No possible”. It’s not just an answer - it’s a philosophy.
Now, this is not an issue with the hotel itself, but it absolutely needs to be mentioned. Several residents at the care home would not stop gawping at us like we were about to start levitating, perform a magic trick, or suddenly transform into wizards. It was genuinely uncomfortable. If someone has something to say, then they should just say it. Otherwise, standing there staring at us with mouths wide open like we’re the newest attraction at the zoo is incredibly rude and unnecessary.
To summarise:
If you love residential care homes, mystery meats, stern staff who absolutely would not approve of fun, and being laughed at by housekeeping while repeatedly told “no possible,” then congratulations - you’ve found your paradise.
Final Rating: 2/10
One star for the location.
One star because at least my wig survived, even if my dignity didn’t.
Yours faithfully (apparently),
A Guest Who Is Now Spiritually 104 Years Old
We have stayed here many times and can only say good thing about it.Yes it's dated but it's spotlessly clean the staff from the housekeepers to bar and reception staff are lovely.Food is plentiful with lots of choices. Entertainment in the magic cafe is great.I feel very comfortable here and have never had a problem.
we have stayed at cristal park many times, it is a very relaxed atmosphere at the hotel, rooms are adequate, maid service dailly and very good. location is great for the old town and taxi rank 2 ninutes away for trips to new town etc. staff are friendly ( be polite, they will appreciate it ) bar is old style timber design very rustic.
food is ok, always griddled meats vegs salad bar is fab with good selection of cheeses and cold meats. fresh fruit always. deserts not as good as they used to be but ok, could do with me showing the chef how to make a bread and butter pudding properly lol. all in all a well run hotel
Hi we came on holiday after reading the description of the hotel was meant to be child friendly and lots for children to do. There is nothing as the description suggests. The kids club is always closed, th children pool is so so dirty it’s not safe to put children into. The food is absolutely disgusting. There is nothing nice to eat and it’s all pork in every dish. The food that is vegetarian is again inedible because it’s so poorly made. The snacks at the night time is left over dinner & lunch so it’s all stale food and just horrible. We paid for all inclusive and having to eat out every night for food that isn’t cold or food that isn’t horrible. The hotel is full of Spanish peoples who quite clearly hate British people because they are so so rude and constantly arguing with us or telling us to “shoo” this is a disgrace of a holiday.
Le all in super bien .. l'emplacement
Got to buffet when just open food cold same night time food ok if it was hot
Choice of b/fast items
Roof top pool & bar lovely
Staff helpful
Would have preferred a bigger room with easy access to bathroom
Our room had 3 sections
Bathroom was accessible from room with couch & a big step
Not bedroom
Not viable for people with mobility issues
Room was on a slant
Floor 6 overlooking park
Lifts were not always accessible waiting a long time due to how busy hotel was

I really don't know where to begin...
Rooms VERY dated and sticky stains on bedside tables were there when we were allocated our room and for the remainder of the week. Room wasn't attended to for three out of our seven day stay. Lifts were never accessible and one was out of order for the whole week! Apparently we paid more for a valentine meal which consisted of some heart shaped puddings and my partner receiving a carnation. We only stayed a week but had pigs trotters on the menu twice and even got offered tripe, neither of which I would feed to my dog! Tables , cutlery and plates often dirty, so much so that my partner cleaned our table with baby wipes at every meal. Restaurant was shown on website as having tablecloths on tables, non existent, more like a works canteen. There was NO quiet place to relax with a drink in the evening. We witnessed a family of ten eating out which is a tremendous price to pay when you have paid for all inclusive!
Police were called twice in the week we were there and nobody explained to us in English why this happened. We were just shoved in to a room with NO explanation. No apologies...
There was a festival going on at the rear of the hotel but the hotel didn't have ANY information! One positive bar staff when they got to know us were lovely, however we would NEVER darken the doors again. Considering we were sold this as a Spanish style hotel we had NO paella (just rice with vegetables) As for hot puddings don't expect any variety because it was the same all week for lunch and evening meals! Avoid at all costs, definitely not worth the money!
Very few balcony’s
No outside pool , only a very small inside one , out of the sun with no sunbeds.
I’m sure the drinks were alcohol free , u could drink all day & still be stone cold sober at the end of the day , food was ok
Terrible place they cater for the spanish mainly, some of the lifts where broken over 2 months broken still not fixed " get used to walking up 7 flights of stairs ive legs like Arnie now . the fighting of people in the lifts was crazy, 6 people cramned into a lift caused alot of unnecessary stress .. we had to move rooms as our door broke 6 times they had to kick the door in in the end so we collect our belongings., the new room they gave us the balcony door fell of when I tried to open it first time, someone could have been seriously injured.. staff told us to go the second restaurant as it was less busy " thats where the tourists r told to go we used it for 4 days the food was awful pigs feet an all ,, wasnt till the llast day of our holiday we went into the other restaurant to find it was full of spanish who where very ignorant they where eating chicken breasts, we where eating pigs tro lol t, they had a much larger choice of food also .. they have a dance evening eveynight god forbid the you go in their because the spanish tell you to get out, I seen a uk couple getting harassed for going in it , it almost ended in a fight the spanish where gunning for them .. safe to say ill never return to that place again ...
