Lovely short stay in a great hotel in a fantastic location

Rincón de escondido en el corazón histórico de la ciudad.
Pros:

Precioso edificio histórico en el corazón del castillo de Sao Jorge. La estancia está llena de detalles de cortesía por parte del hotel. Los pavos reales del recinto son un atractivo añadido. Lugar idílico.

Cons:

Para mi todo estuvo genial, pero hay que ser muy consciente de la ubicación en lo más alto de la ciudad.

L'hotel pulito, silenzioso, staff preparato e disponibile...e i pavoni ti fanno compagnia! Camere spaziose con necessario per la doccia, cuffie per la doccia e crema corpo, asciugacapelli, ciabattine da camera, accappatoio oltre alle salviette in dotazione. Colazione servita fino alle 12 e merenda dalle 17, con prodotti di altissima qualità, compreso dolci tipici. Dalle finestre si ammira il castello di San Giorgio. La posizione centrale raggiungibile a piedi o solo con taxi.

A welcoming stay in a remarkable location with a real sense of history.
Pros:

The location next door to the castle was fantastic. We loved the relaxed lounge/breakfast area with coffee and cakes always available and champagne provided at 5pm! The free transfer from airport to the hotel was great - such narrow and winding streets!

Cons:

The room was a bit small but it was described as petit so no surprise then!

ポルトガルを満喫できた
Pros:

空港での出迎え、部屋に置かれたポルトワイン、庭にやって来る孔雀、などおもてなし感がたっぷりある。
周りはお城をはじめ歴史的建物で、その足元にあるこのホテルもかつてはお城のキッチンだったという歴史的建物。
紹介してもらったプライベートツアーのガイドは、地元出身で豊富な知識を持つインテリで、ツアー中の会話のおかげでポルトガルという国が良く理解できた。

Frühstück mit Pfauen
Pros:

Eine tolle Lage direkt neben dem Castelo de São Jorge, in einer verkehrsberuhigten Zone. Durch die Lage konnten wir die Stadt nochmal ganz neu erkunden.

Die Frühstückszeit geht bis fast 12 Uhr, glaube ich, auf jeden Fall länger als üblich, das hat für uns den Start in den Tag sehr entspannt gestaltet.

Im Patio des Hotels (im alten Küchengebäude der Burg) waren regelmäßig die Pfauen der Burg zu Besuch, das war unterhaltsam und besonders.

Cons:

Wir waren im Winter da, dadurch konnten wir Touristenmassen gut umgehen, das war uns auch vorher bewusst. Im Sommer wäre es für mich persönlich nichts.

Charming hotel with a lot of character, in an excellent location. Excellent buffet breakfast.
Pros:

Buffet breakfast was excellent. as were the complementarity tea, coffee and pastries throughout the day. also the complementary sparkling wine and port in the evenings.

Pros:

We were collected at the airport by a courtesy car arranged by the hotel which made transfer and check a simple process.
The bedroom was spacious and very comfortable. The lounge provided space to relax and meet other guests.
The location, although at the top of a hill which made walking hard work sometimes is well served by public transport.
Breakfast is available from 07:30 to noon which is amazing.
The courtyard while small is perfectly adequate to relax in and the peacocks add further charm.

Un véritable bijou au cœur de Lisbonne !
Mon séjour au Solar do Castelo a été absolument parfait du début à la fin. L’hôtel est idéalement situé dans le quartier pittoresque d’Alfama, au sein même des murs du château São Jorge – à la fois historique et magique.

Tout a été pensé dans les moindres détails : la décoration mêle charme ancien et confort moderne, le personnel est d'une gentillesse et d’un professionnalisme remarquables, toujours souriant et attentionné. On se sent véritablement accueilli avec chaleur et élégance.

Les chambres sont confortables, calmes, et pleines de caractère. Le petit-déjeuner est délicieux, varié, et servi dans un patio paisible entouré de verdure et de paons en liberté – une expérience unique !

C’est une adresse rare, qui allie l’authenticité et la tranquillité. Je recommande sans hésitation, et j’y reviendrai avec grand plaisir !

Heel vriendelijk personeel. Niets was te veel. Heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt tot 12u, vrijblijvende atmosfeer, rustig en idyllisch kader op toplocatie. Een echte aanrader!

Pros:

Enchanteresse...situé dans les anciennes cuisines du château,il a gardé le charme de l ancien tout en ayant le confort.Il y faisait bon.On est dans cocon.A disposition gratuitement boissons chaudes et pâtisseries traditionnelles tout au long de la journée. Un superbe petit-déjeuner continental avec des produits de qualités et frais et du coin.Le personnel au top.Nous avions à disposition dans la chambre du Porto.Une petite carte avec le prénom de la dame qui avait préparé notre chambre comme si nous étions unique.Nous avons eu la compagnie des majestueux Paons.Nous étions 5 personnes et tout le monde a adoré !!!
