L'emplacement est top : dans le quartier typique Alfama, et bien que juste à côté du Castelo de São Jorge, il est assez en retrait pour ne pas être dans l'invasion touristique.
Le taxi qui nous attendait gratuitement à l'aéroport fut un vrai plus et l'hôtel a commandé un taxi pour le retour qui a été hyper efficace.
Un personnel accueillant, aux petits soins et un hôtel avec le soucis du bien recevoir... tout y est : accès aux boissons et collations durant la journée, un cadre cosy, une chambre préparée avec soins (merci aux dames de ménages) avec petite carafe de porto rouge et de l'eau (évidemment), des serviettes, chaussons et peignoirs brodés "solar do castelo", et un ptit déj disponible jusqu'à 12h.
Et si vous aimez les paons vous allez être servis... ils flânent par-ci par-là et gare aux oreilles sensibles.
Bref nous avons passé un week-end parfait et cet hôtel y est pour beaucoup...
Rien... comme je le disais attention aux oreilles sensibles avec les cris des paons mais cela n'a pas été dérangeant pour nous

Fantastiskt kulturminnesmärkt hotell på toppen av högsta kullen i Lissabon. Mycket vänlig personal och fantastisk frukost. Rummen är är spatiösa , välutrustade och vackra.
Det är extremt branta och långa backar samt många trappor upp till hotellet. Var beredd på att det krävs god kondition!
Det vimlar av tama och snälla men mycket nyfikna och högljudda påfåglar i och runt hotellet och slottet. Var beredd på att de skriker även nattetid. Med öronproppar går det utmärkt!

Walking back to, as it’s top of the hill!
Lovely boutique hotel on the top of a hill next to the castle. Great staff, all bespoke rooms, fantastic breakfast and a great touch with the port in the room and sparkling wine freely available.
Being on top of the hill, this might be an issue for anyone with difficulties in walking but not for us.

A peaceful location right at the castle. The grounds are beautiful and relaxing, very welcoming. The staff is wonderful.
The unique location can make it challenging to taxi back, but you should be walking anyway… it’s Portugal. Peacocks are beautiful but noisy, the front desk has earplugs.

Great location next to the castle. Comfortable room, nice breakfast, friendly staff. The peacocks are a feature. Quite a few nice restaurants in the vicinity e.g. Audrey’s.
The location is great - within the castle walls. I only stayed one night as there was nothing else available, but I would have liked to stay longer. The staff and facilities were great. The location was perfect to leave from for the tour to Sintra. The peacock calls are a royal touch.

El hotel súper bonito y bien cuidado. El persona muy amable. Con amenities que se valoran muchísimo. Me encantó!
Lo único es que el transporte no puede acercarse mucho al hotel y al final siempre hay que caminar algo. Con el frío y las subidas se hace pesado, pero no imposible.
Besides that the location is perfect to explore the city, the hotel itself is extremely comfortable and the staff is really friendly and helpful. The amenities are great end will definitely recommend it.

viele Restaurants in Laufreichweite,
sehr reichhaltiges Frühstück,
täglich wechselnder Kuchen und süße Pasteten, jederzeit Kaffee und Tee in der Lounge,
alles sehr gepflegt, Zimmer mit Klimanlage, schöner Innenhof mit Bänken
freundliches, hilfreiches Personal, immer ansprechbar für Auskünfte oder Services.
