Je souhaite partager mon expérience concernant cet établissement, car plusieurs éléments me semblent incompatibles avec le classement 4 étoiles affiché.

Tout d'abord, les 4 étoiles attribuées me paraissent difficilement justifiables au regard des prestations proposées et de l'organisation générale de l'hôtel.

Heureusement que je suis venu récupérer ma clé à 15h, car lorsque je suis revenu à l'hôtel vers 23h, il n'y avait déjà plus aucun réceptionniste sur place. Pour un établissement se revendiquant 4 étoiles, l'absence de personnel à l'accueil en soirée peut être surprenante, notamment en cas d'imprévu.

J'ai d'ailleurs rencontré un problème avec la climatisation de ma chambre dès la première nuit. Par chance, la directrice de l'hôtel était encore présente au bar et a pu intervenir. Sans sa présence, je ne sais pas quelle solution aurait été trouvée. La seule proposition immédiate qui m'a été faite a été de dormir avec un ventilateur. Pour un séjour de deux nuits dans un hôtel 4 étoiles, cette solution me paraît particulièrement légère.

Autre point étonnant : il n'est pas possible de prendre un petit-déjeuner sans l'avoir réservé à l'avance. C'est une situation que je n'avais encore jamais rencontrée dans un établissement de cette catégorie. Dans la plupart des hôtels 4 étoiles, le petit-déjeuner reste accessible aux clients de l'hôtel, même lorsqu'il n'a pas été réservé au préalable.

Le personnel rencontré a été courtois et la directrice a fait son possible pour trouver des solutions, mais cela ne suffit malheureusement pas à compenser plusieurs manquements qui, selon moi, ne correspondent pas au niveau de service attendu dans un établissement classé 4 étoiles.

Very bad administration
Pros:

We are still waiting for the refund of an acknowledged overpayment made in February. We were initially sent proof of a transfer, but later learned the payment had actually been rejected due to incorrect beneficiary details entered by the hotel.

No proactive communication was made to inform us or resolve the issue. Very disappointing administration and follow-up.

Comfortable and Quiet

We really enjoyed our stay here. As long as you know what to expect, you won’t be disappointed. This isn’t a typical 4‑star hotel by North American standards. The front desk staff are warm, friendly, and helpful, but they are not available 24/7. There is no one around after about 9 pm.

Not all rooms are the same, but they are all clean and simple. We stayed in a 3 PERSONS SEA VIEW KITCHENETTE studio on the first floor in the building to the right of the office, with a view of the Diamond. It was convenient and easy to access from the parking area. The room was spacious but very basic, with a large balcony where the kitchenette is located. There were pots, pans, and dishes available, enough to make simple meals. For rooms with balcony, remember to use the automatic shutter to close off the balcony to keep the birds out. If it’s left open, they may come in looking for food and leave a mess behind.

The hotel is very quiet, and there are several beaches within walking distance along the seaside trail behind the property. If you have a car, I highly recommend driving to some of the nicer beaches in the area.

There is only one restaurant on site. It serves breakfast, lunch, afternoon drinks, and dinner. The most disappointing part of the stay was the breakfast. For 15 euros per person, it was very basic with limited choices. Even though you can order bacon and eggs from the kitchen, it still felt overpriced and not worth it. On the other hand, dinner was a pleasant surprise. The food was delicious, portions were good, prices were reasonable, and the service was great. We ended up eating there twice instead of driving into town.

Parking was sometimes difficult between 6:30 and 9 pm, but outside of those hours, we always found a spot.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and had no issues with the hotel.
