We loved the hotel and the helpful and attentive staff there. It was the trip of a life time thanks in large part to this wonderful gem of a hotel. We would not think twice about staying here again if we return to Rome some day.
A very nice hotel! The staff was very friendly and were very helpful! The hotel was very clean and nice! Also, the location of the hotel was really good!
Fantastic hotel, very nice and polite staff. The location of the hotel is perfect, we walked everywhere. Rooms are clean, spacious, and nice, and cleaned daily. Breakfasts are very good, though there could have been more vegetables (only one salad). At the end of our stay, there was at least a fruit salad, but vegetables were still lacking. Overall, great. Thank you.
Wonderful hotel with excellent staff. Rooms are very clean and comfortable.breakfast with lots of choices and excellent quality. I would recommend this hotel for overall excellent service .
My family had a very nice stay at Hotel Dei Mellini. Front desk staff were very helpful in the breakfast staff was incredible. The breakfast was, in my opinion, exceptional. Fresh fruits, cheese, meats, pastry, bread, juices, etc. Location was good. Good restaurants within a five minute walk and main attractions within a 15/20 minute walk. If we went back to Rome, we would stay here again.
The service and hospitality was absolutely spectacular. The hotel was beautiful, clean and the employees were absolutely incredible.
What a wonderful hotel! We had arranged for our room to be ready when we arrived, and it was! The hotel had also booked transportation for us, and the person who drove us was very good.
The hotel was very quiet and never heard any noise in the hallways.
Staff were so friendly, and very helpful.
We had ordered a cake for my Mom’s birthday, it was very good.
We also had some room service as well which was very good, pizza, risotto good, spaghetti was very filling, and the meatballs very tender.
Wifi works pretty well.
Room didn’t have good reception for my phone to make calls though.
Had the bed with the couch, very comfortable, but probably wouldn’t work for taller people ( I’m about 5”3).
The do not disturb button was very useful.
The terrace is very nice, got to sit out there for a few hours one afternoon and it was lovely.
As someone who likes the ac cold, it went down to 16 which was comfortable although I only needed a thin blanket most of the night
The shower has one of those half doors so the floor got pretty wet. The pressure was good though, and temperature was easy to get to what I wanted.
Great location as well to many attractions. Would absolutely stay here again.
Wonderful hotel with amazing staff where nothing seems too much trouble.
Staying as a family of 3 in the superior triple room and it’s perfect as a base to visit Rome for 3 days.
Main sites to visit are walkable, however the taxi service organised by the hotel is so efficient.
Breakfast is perfect, I would highly recommend this hotel.
Cute, clean hotel with an attentive and friendly staff. Location is great with accessibility to walk to stores, restaurants. We enjoyed the 6th floor terrace (no view of anything) but we still enjoyed dinner as it was peaceful and relaxing.
Tutto perfetto. Staff incredibilmente gentile e professionale, sempre disponibile. Camera pulita e confortevole, colazione eccellente con ampia scelta. Posizione ottima. Ci siamo sentiti accolti dal primo all’ultimo momento. Torneremo sicuramente.
Nulla, è stato tutto impeccabile.
This is our second stay in this lovely hotel, both times in a one-bedroom suite. We love having the 1.5 baths and seating area. The A/C worked perfectly during the heatwave, which might be the best thing of all. The location is perfect and the neighborhood is full of local restaurants which we also took full advantage of. The staff are all friendly and efficient. Will definitely stay again when we make our way back to Rome!
Breakfast was plentiful and good.
Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff.
Everything - room was spacious and clean, lots of variety for breakfast, bar staff brilliant, hotel staff informative, location excellent.
All good
We were recommended to stay at Hotel Dei Mellini in Rome by our travel agent before leaving for our cruise and the experience was fantastic. Great staff, clean and comfortable rooms, wonderful breakfast included. They also suggested a restaurant for dinner and it was great.
Such a lovely hotel. Lobby is elegant even if the rooms are a bit (and only a bit) dated) but that's inconsequential to the rest of one's stay.
My room faced an alley and when I asked for a different view, they upgraded me to an enormous room. Bathrooms are all marble with plenty of storage options, great beds and bedlinens...just a really lovely experience overall.
I was there during the June heatwave and the air conditioning was fantastic, and that's coming from someone who hates the heat.
The hotel is located in a great neighborhood, the Prati section of Rome, on a quiet street.
Breakfast was included in my rate and the spread was super generous.
Check-in was simple and quick, as was check-out. No surprises. friendly.
I'd 100% stay here again.
The hotel was really well located close to the river Tiber. It is a really elegant building and full of Italian charm. We were around 10 minutes walk from the Spanish Steps, Piazza di Espagna and Via del Corso and the colosseum was around 30 mins walk. Everything was walkable. The room was spacious, comfortable and really well decorated. The breakfast was also a great addition and helps to set you up for the day.
Mostly the staff were lovely but some less helpful than others.
The hotel is a perfect stop for easy walking travel to Trevi, Spanish steps, pantheon, and Coliseum.
As well as easy walk to the Vatican. Hotel staff was incredibly helpful making reservations for dinner, taxi, car service, etc. Room was perfect, and the breakfast was a great start to each day.
