clean, excellent service, great breakfast, centrally located no complaints. We stayed for 5 days in Rome. This hotel was within walking distance to most of Rome
We have stayed at Dei Mellini for several times and always enjoy coming back. The service is excellent, the staff are very friendly and attentive and the location is very peaceful while still being close to both center and Vatican. We have stayed in winter, spring and summer season, so we also appreciated that the heating and air conditioning can be easily adjusted to your own preference.
Every stay feels comfortable and effortless, which is exactly why we keep coming back. Highly recommended!
Blisko centrum, a jednocześnie cisza i spokój.
Wszystko ok na ocenę 4,5 w skali 5.
Excellent from beginning to end. Receptionist explained everything about the hotel, the complimentary breakfast. Explained were we where on the map regarding the tourist attractions and restaurants and travel. He gave us some local restaurants which were excellent.
A truly lovely hotel very modern in the traditional style. In the lovely Prati area. Fabulous staff.
Absolutely loved our stay, staff were amazing and welcoming very helpful. Great location with a super verity of restaurants on the doorstep. Look forward to returning…
The hotel is clean & modern in a perfect location to explore. Receptionist was extremely helpful & we found the map she highlighted with all main attractions a great reference through our stay. The roof terrace was a wonderful bonus. There was a great choice at breakfast. Would 100% recommend as the perfect hotel for a weekend exploring Rome!
Great location, fantastic hotel, excellent staff!
4 nights which we booked through EasyJet. On arrival the hotel is in a nice street in Prati with plenty of restaurants close by. Easy walking to most of Romes historical sights.
Reception was excellent. Very pleasant, informative and helpful with booking taxis etc.
Had a lovely room on the first floor which was spotless, comfortable, everything you needed. Each day the room was cleaned and made fresh.
Breakfast served from 6:30am which is very helpful, we had some early tours planned and flight home but the early start meant we had time for a delicious breakfast, more than enough choice.
All in all the hotel and staff were more than expected and I’d have no hesitation to recommend family and friends should they take a trip to Rome.
Thank you Hotel Dei Mellini.
A wonderful 4 night stay, travelling on my own to run the Rome marathon. Wonderful welcome and made even better by being given a room upgrade from the booked single room to a king size…lovely surprise.
Room was large, bathroom excellent and very quiet. Breakfast was lovely and staff are so hard working and friendly.
Hotel itself is very clean and its location is perfect to walk to the Vatican or across the river to Piazza Navona/Pantheon area. It’s in such a quiet location for being so close the centre and Prati area was a welcome sanctuary away from the crowds of the day. Good local restaurants and nice evening walks down to Castel St Angelo and Piazza Cavour.
It’s only 10 mins walk to Lepanto or Flaminio metro which was really useful to get to the marathon on the Sunday
Lovely overall stay and location
My husband and I stayed three nights in March. My primary criteria, for my husband, was having a workout room with a spin bike. He doesn’t go anywhere without doing his workout first, so once I saw pictures of the exercise room, I kept reading about the hotel. I liked the neighborhood it’s located in, I liked breakfast was included. Our stay there was everything we expected: the staff was great, food in the bar was good, the room was spacious and we were close to the bus line and metro. We walked to the Vatican in about 20 minutes, and had several good restaurants within a block or two.
One note, the bed was very hard. While it wasn’t what I liked, some may. Just be aware of that
We enjoyed a lovely stay for 4 nights. Room was nice and very clean. Bed was very firm. Nice quiet location. Service was great from the moment we arrived. Luggage taken to our room, smooth check in, all staff helpful and friendly. Nice selection for breakfast. Would stay here again if we return to Rome. Definitely recommend.
Lovely hotel, excellent location, friendly and helpful staff would highly recommend to others and would use again
My daughter and I stayed here for 5 nights and had a pleasant stay. The hotel is well located about a 10 minute walk to The Vatican.
The staff were friendly and helpful. We booked a Delux room, which was nice but it wasn’t that big, but adequate. I was disappointed with the tea and coffee making facilities, they provide Nescafé sachets which must be about the worst coffee, it’s Italy surely they can provide better.
The aircon was very good and if you stayed in the summer I think it would be great at keeping the room cool.
The bathroom was nice but our toilet permanently flowed water, so you had to keep the bathroom door shut.
The bed was comfy and the curtains were heavy so good at keeping the room dark.
There was a good selection at breakfast, all the usuals.
Over all a nice stay in Rome
Hotel Dei Mellini is a small hotel in a great location for exploring Rome. The hotel is beautiful, quiet and very clean. I would recommend this for anyone planning a trip to Rome.
We found our stay to be excellent. The hotel was a nicely set up and relaxing place. Staff were helpful and friendly, and we had some pleasant conversations with people at the front desk. Our room appointments were good. We especially appreciated the suite had clear separation between the living room and bedroom (one of us has breathing problems at night). The breakfast promised for the morning had a good and ample set of foods. If we were ever to visit Rome again, we would be happy to stay once more at the dei Mellini.
We were very happy with our stay, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast . We would definitely return
We cannot fault this hotel, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms were big, well equipped and clean. Maid service was very good. Would return.
The hotel is lovely. The rooms are nice and the staff is very helpful. My suggestion would be if you have a hard time with more than 10000+ steps its easier to take a taxi to places for timed entries then walk to the nearest taxi rank to return to the hotel to save your legs. The Buses work ok but the underground tube is not very convenient. The breakfast is nice and the bar is relaxing... we didnt make it up to the rooftop lounge though.
Lovely hotel in a quiet part of the city. Room was comfortable and quite spacious with enough storage for all your holiday clothing. All staff encountered were helpful and friendly. Room was maintained extremely well throughout the time we were there, with a nice little touch each night with staff popping through to provide a turndown service.
