I found the location, conveniently accessible to most places I wanted to visit and in a quiet area. Room is clean. Has a friendly atmosphere and attentive staff. It needs to improve its internet connection.

One of the best hotel experiences ever and I have been everywhere. Top staff and communication and concierge service were impeccable. Great rooms. Breakfast could go up a notch but was fine. Perfect location and even the older members of our family could walk to everything.
The room was Beautifully furnished and extremely spacious. Me, my wife and our two daughters thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The desk personnel were courteous and helpful and I was promptly helped to my room. The room was not fancy, but was clean, well-organized and exactly what I needed. The breakfast selections were excellent. The only negative was the lack of a USB port in my room, so I had to charge my phone in the lobby. Many older hotels have lamps with USB ports built in. That would have been much appreciated.

We stayed at Hotel Dei Mellini for several nights in August while exploring Rome as a family, and overall had a very pleasant stay. The standout of our trip was the staff — the front desk and main bar team were exceptional. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
The daily breakfast was a nice way to start the morning, and we really appreciated the ice water available in the lobby — a small touch, but a welcome one during the peak of Rome's summer heat.
Our room itself was comfortable, though we did run into one recurring issue: the AC wouldn't hold its setting while we were out. After a full day of exploring the city in August heat, we'd return to a warm room and have to wait for it to cool back down. It would be great if this could get looked at for future guests.
One thing to note for anyone booking: the hotel is located across the river from many of Rome's major attractions, so depending on what's on your itinerary, be prepared for a bit more walking (or taxi/metro rides) to reach some sights.
Overall, the warmth of the staff made up for the minor drawbacks, and we'd consider staying again.

As you arrive you are greeted by friendly staff, the hotel is nice and welcoming. Rooms are spacious, well kept. We had a pleasant stay and was treated well from arrival, at breakfast, bar service as well as front desk with car service or booking an excursion last minute. Definitely would book this hotel in future.
