Tutto perfetto. Staff incredibilmente gentile e professionale, sempre disponibile. Camera pulita e confortevole, colazione eccellente con ampia scelta. Posizione ottima. Ci siamo sentiti accolti dal primo all’ultimo momento. Torneremo sicuramente.
Nulla, è stato tutto impeccabile.
Breakfast was plentiful and good.
Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff.
Everything - room was spacious and clean, lots of variety for breakfast, bar staff brilliant, hotel staff informative, location excellent.
All good
We were recommended to stay at Hotel Dei Mellini in Rome by our travel agent before leaving for our cruise and the experience was fantastic. Great staff, clean and comfortable rooms, wonderful breakfast included. They also suggested a restaurant for dinner and it was great.
Such a lovely hotel. Lobby is elegant even if the rooms are a bit (and only a bit) dated) but that's inconsequential to the rest of one's stay.
My room faced an alley and when I asked for a different view, they upgraded me to an enormous room. Bathrooms are all marble with plenty of storage options, great beds and bedlinens...just a really lovely experience overall.
I was there during the June heatwave and the air conditioning was fantastic, and that's coming from someone who hates the heat.
The hotel is located in a great neighborhood, the Prati section of Rome, on a quiet street.
Breakfast was included in my rate and the spread was super generous.
Check-in was simple and quick, as was check-out. No surprises. friendly.
I'd 100% stay here again.
The hotel was really well located close to the river Tiber. It is a really elegant building and full of Italian charm. We were around 10 minutes walk from the Spanish Steps, Piazza di Espagna and Via del Corso and the colosseum was around 30 mins walk. Everything was walkable. The room was spacious, comfortable and really well decorated. The breakfast was also a great addition and helps to set you up for the day.
Mostly the staff were lovely but some less helpful than others.
The hotel is a perfect stop for easy walking travel to Trevi, Spanish steps, pantheon, and Coliseum.
As well as easy walk to the Vatican. Hotel staff was incredibly helpful making reservations for dinner, taxi, car service, etc. Room was perfect, and the breakfast was a great start to each day.
Great location, beautiful rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Staff recommended dining and made reservations for our family of 6. Breakfast was bountiful and varied, surpassed expectations. Lobby bar was a great place to sit and relax after tours and have a drink to wind down the day. All staff were amazing from bartender, lobby receptionist to bell hop services. Highly recommend.
Good accomodation, good service, friendly and helpfull staff. We were even allowed to park our bikes in the garage!
Sadly, this hotel was more about greed than customer service. The conveniently have no managers available to speak to so the front desks can say there is nothing they can do. They messed up my reservation but insisted on charging me for an extra hotel room we did not stay in.
Tucked away from the main streets.
Staff polite and helpful.
Location placed fairly evenly to every major landmark.
My daughter and I just returned from a week's dream vacation in Italy. We spent our first two nights at the Hotel Dei Mellini. It is in a wonderful area right across the river from the main shopping district and walkable to all the tourist attractions. The hotel was elegant and the staff was wonderful. Our room was large for European standards and had all the amenities we needed. The hotel was between Prati and Travestere and we walked around each night and felt very safe. As the weather was very hot, we took cars to the Vatican, Colosseum, and train station. The hotel would call a taxi for us whenever we asked. The services that they used were the legitimate ones and we never had an issue with the amount being charged or using a credit card. The air conditioning in the hotel was excellent and the room was very cool when we would come back from our tours and rest up for dinner. Both mornings I went down and brought breakfast food up to our room as my daughter was getting ready for our tours They were very accommodating with this and the breakfast selection was very nice. One of the employees even helped carry items and got the lift for me. Overall, we were very impressed and happy with the Hotel Dei Mellini and would recommend this hotel and stay there again.
Beautiful hotel with modern conveniences and an old world feel. Lovely breakfast included! Hope to visit you again someday.
We received high quality service from every staff member, Good selection of breakfast. I would stay where again.
The hotel was within walking distance of many of Rome's attractions and a short cab ride to those farther out. Rooms and service were quite nice and it was quiet. It does not have a restaurant, but it does offer breakfast and some food from the bar. We ate a couple of times around the corner at a very reasonably priced pizza place.
Sadly, this hotel was more about greed than customer service. The conveniently have no managers available to speak to so the front desks can say there is nothing they can do. They messed up my reservation but insisted on charging me for an extra hotel room we did not stay in.
Room was nice sized and had a king sized bed. Not all European hotels have such large accommodations. The staff is super friendly and were happy to answer any of our questions. Hotel was super clean with a nice bar and lounge area on the main floor. It also had a cool rooftop sitting area where guests could hangout and talk about their daily excursions. Would definitely stay here again. No hesitation.
The Dei Mellini is our favorite place in Rome! The location in Prati puts you close to everything, and the staff are wonderful...welcoming, professional, helpful, and courteous. The rooms are charming, comfortable, and clean, and the breakfast is sumptuous, with a convenient bar in the lobby that's great for meeting up or just ordering a quick meal. I cannot recommend the Hotel dei Mellini highly enough.
