Wow where do we start!
Well, we lay on our sun beds and booked again for next year. If you are looking for the most relaxing holiday then this is the place, staff are great, massive shout out to Winner who looked after us most days at breakfast time, bar and the Italian restaurant which is part of the hotel, she made us smile everyday, Robin who served on the bar was fab and Ricardo on reception on an evening is a great guy. 5minute walk to the beach with amazing sunsets and restaurants.
Very relaxing atmosphere.
Breakfast is very good, the 2 guys who make the omelettes do a great job, it is nice to see that they enjoy what they do.
Every part of the hotel is immaculate, we cannot fault it.
See you all same time next year.

Just returned from a lovely week at this hotel. No complaints whatsoever. Jet2.com however.... not sure why guests are dropped off at a roundabout up the road and picked up to go back to the airport. The manager of the hotel said it was only Jet2 who did this. When we arrived 7th July we were dropped off 'on the roundabout' (middle of the road) which was very dangerous. No provision was made for an elderly lady who walked with sticks. She was expected to walk up the road, absolutely shocking. Luckily the kind man on reception drove her to the pickup point.
We spent a few nights at Planet Fusion a local bar around 10 min walk. Absolutely outstanding. Great atmosphere, good food and lovely owners.
The beach was literally a cock stride away from the hotel, beautiful white sand with 3 restaurants.
The hotel owns an Italian attached to the hotel, food was amazing.
Hotel breakfast was good with plenty of choice

All in all a very chilled holiday in a perfect location, stunning hotel and staff were so nice.

The breakfast had a great choice and staff very friendly especially Ricardo! The location is fantastic, walk to restaurants, beach and shop.

We came here as girls holiday. The hotel is lovely, very clean, nice breakfast and we’ve enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly. The breakfast room, bar, and swimming pool were fantastic. It’s close to the beach and the old town. We walked to the strip in Oura which is 20 minutes walk and the night there were fantastic and lively.

Unfortunately, on our last day, we were unable to use the outdoor tub to spend our final afternoon there because a group of immature grown men had been occupying it from morning until late afternoon. We politely asked them to make room for the four of us women to use it, but one of the men was being arrogant replied, “Tough, it’s not our problem.” They were drinking in the hot tub, leaving alcohol bottles on the steps, and behaving like little boys. We don’t want to jump in with them as we would be uncomfortable with their creepy behaviour.

We raised this issue with the hotel managers, but they only warned the group not to drink alcohol in the tub and did not ask them to move so that other guests could use it. Common sense and respect seemed to have been thrown out of the window. It was disappointing that the managers didn’t do their job as they should have.

A couple of minutes later, the group of men eventually left the tub, and we were able to use it along with other guests. It was obvious that the other guests had also been waiting to use it.

the hotel is lovely and clean the staff are always friendly and politest the restaurants menu does not alter soup of the day is carrot and pumpkin every day and a lot of the staff did not speak English at all.Winner was an exception she spoke very good English and was very keen to learn very valuable team member

Everything! The staff is one in a million! I wish I could stay longer.

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Vila Gale Praia. This hotel is located close to a lovely sandy beach, the food was really good and the staff are so friendly and helpful. It is a very quiet location with a few restaurants close by and Albufeira is a taxi ride away which is much livelier. We would highly recommend staying here and would definitely return when visiting Portugal again.

Our third year of visiting this tranquil hotel and,on our return home we have immediately booked for next year. The staff are always pleasant and welcoming which fits in with the ambience of the hotel
The grounds are immaculate and there is seldom a problem with finding a sunbed. The evening menu had changed this year and there were some strange combinations on the menu. However, the option of changing your evening meal for a pizza at lunchtime is good.
If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday, then look no further.

Very relaxing place. Staff are of the highest caliber, excellent English and so helpful. For a relaxing poolside holiday look no further. Very close to the beach and 4 restaurants within a 5 min stroll
