The smaller and more casual nature of the property.
The room could use some more light. Was fairly dark.
Breakfast was great; staff very accomodating

The property was exquisite. The entire staff was incredible, especially Noémie from Reception. She went above and beyond to make our 11th anniversary very memorable. I am already looking forward to a more extended visit to Hotel Manapany.
What an incredible oasis this hotel is in St Barthelemy. The staff were incredibly friendly, always greeting us with warm smiles. They were attentive to our needs and you felt genuinely at home.
The place is peaceful, always greeted from the balcony with tropical breezes and the sounds of the ocean coupled with the evening tree frogs was a symphony perfectly suited for deep sleep.
The breakfast and dining room is lovely. It has big floor to ceiling windows which swing open to allow breezes and ocean waves right at your feet. Breakfast and dinner had plenty of options to choose from, a blend of Caribbean flavour with roots straight from France—magnifique!
The pool and poolside bar area is an excellent place to unwind after a day of sightseeing.
Many thanks to all the Staff who made the stay special, an extra thank you to Hugo and Clemence who looked after us while staying.
We will be retuning and will only be interested in staying at Manapany
Amazing Service!
It's a nice place to stay. It's a solid 4 star hotel. Lovely people that work there.
I would recommend LE Toiny for an Extraordinary stay - but it is also about 1.5-2x the price
The location of this hotel is good. It's close to St Jean (where EdenRoc is, Nikki Beach and Gyp Sea) and close to Gustavia.
Not much in terms of views and we can a beach side suite
A bonus is that you can walk to the beach
Wonderful staff
My wife and I just had our second wonderful stay at Hotel Manapany! The staff is amazing, the rooms are incredible and the beach and pool areas are fantastic. We highly recommend this hotel and are already planning our next visit. The manager, Sara, is incredible. She’s very attentive to the guests and made our stay great. She seems to be available 24 hours a day making sure the hotel runs efficiently. The pool/beach attendant, Morigan, was also incredible. She didn’t stop moving all day and made our stay so enjoyable. The staff has such a great attitude and everyone greets you with a smile and is eager to make your stay special. Can’t wait to come back!
The staff were very friendly and helpful
Charge for eggs Benedict at breakfast. We have traveled extensively all over the world and this is the first time we have been charged for eggs! The daily bed and breakfast rate was extremely expensive, and to be charged extra for eggs Benedict was astonishing.
Beautiful property, most of the staff very kind and accommodating
Unfortunately there were multiple mishaps with the staff there. Although all very nice, a lot of them were not very knowledgeable about things at the hotel itself as well as in the area. Free breakfast subpar quality. Prior to arrival, staff was extremely slow to respond to my emails on multiple occassions (10+ days and even then I only received a response once I followed up with them)
Great location, nice layout, lovely beach
Food good, but limited menu for snacks/lunches
Notre séjour a été très agréable, la végétation est magnifique. Des bougies à la citronnelle pour combattre les moustiques seraient bienvenues. La chambre est confortable. Le personnel est attentionné. Quel bonheur d’avoir la plage et la mer sur place.
great facility, Friendly staff. Wonderful ambience!
Nothing
Beautiful accommodations, wonderful service. A slice of heaven.
We had an incredible 4 night stay here. The staff was amazing especially Victor (the concierge) who went above and beyond and really made the trip special for us. I would highly recommend staying here.
Charming hotel but the service is not five stars, the staff seemed new and inexperienced. Concierge was slow to respond by email and sometimes did not respond at all. This is not a busy hotel. The restaurant food was very basic with a small selection of small bites and nothing substantial to eat. Housekeeping was outstanding but the rooms themselves are dark, uncomfortable, and full of mosquitos. Make sure you rent a car through the hotel so you can drive up to your room. Public transportation or taxis are not a realistic option. The hotel is location in a quiet part of the island far from any attractions and the beach it is located on is rocky and unlike the other white sand beaches. The hotel pool was very dirty because they had just thrown a pool party the day we arrived. There are nice areas to sit by the beach and by the pool, but with slow service and not much on the menu. Basically the same limited options as room service. The staff was warm and friendly but lacked the finesse of a luxury hotel. This is a more of a casual, beach-house type accomodation and not a high-end boutique hotel. Maybe better for a group of friends or solo traveler.
