Pros:

Everything. Whenever people need to understand the meaning of cozy, they should stay here.

Excellent stay and would definitely book again.
Pros:

Friendly staff. Great rooms, comfortable beds, very clean and well stocked

Cons:

The rooms were quite hot but the weather was very hot. They did provide fans and with the windows open overnight the rooms cooled down beautifully

Perfect country escape
Pros:

It was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a country stay. The staff were friendly and breakfast was delicious.

Cons:

Windows didn’t open.

Very comfortable with warm welcome and very helpful staff throughout.
Pros:

We booked at the last minute very reasonable price, obviously a small room, but well appointed with everything required and very clean.

Cons:

The only thing I would say is that there were no prices on the menu - although the staff did offer to get the prices for us if we wished.

Disappointing

The resturant food was delicious and the garden is very pretty

Cons:

We stayed in our car, the cosy room is exsactly that you can hardly walk around in the room. It was a crazy hot day and we could only open the window a tiny amount and the room became a sauna. To the point where we had to sleep in our car. After speaking with staff and emailing we have heard nothing back after spending £110 to have 0 sleep and sleep in the car. We personally didn’t think it was right to let anyone stay in that room when they knew there was no airflow or anyway of cooling the room down, it was like a sauna. I feel really upset they have not contacted us after expressing how tired and disappointed we were. I held off to write a bad review in the hope they would contact us.

Absolutely perfect! We will be back!
Pros:

Absolutely everything. We booked last minute. They kindly put an air con unit in our room because they knew we had the baby before arrival. The atmosphere, the food, the style of the rooms, everything was great. The people working there could not do enough for us!

Cons:

Nothing, it was perfect.

Prima plek voor 1 of 2 nachten. Het echte Engelse herberg gevoel
Pros:

In de herberg hangt een prettige sfeer. Ze hebben heerlijk eten en goede wijn. Iedereen is vriendelijk en vragen worden met plezier beantwoordt. Het heeft een 'persoonlijke touch'.

Cons:

De auto moest op straat worden geparkeerd. Dat is op zich geen ramp, maar wel iets wat prettig is om vantevoren te weten

Our stay was exactly what we wanted/needed. Beautiful property and we’d highly recommend!
Pros:

The property was wholesome, clean and had lovely finishing touches. The gardens to drink and eat were lush and we felt it was very peaceful.

Cons:

Northleach itself has little but we weren’t overly bothered. We had food at the Sherborne as well which was outstanding and could walk back to the property, which is all we needed on that night.

Taxi/uber access is minimal so worth noting if you wanted to get one to go elsewhere, book in advance.
