The promess made by the photos and add on booking were not reality

It felt like outside the city

Cons:

Old, not very well maintained, the photos look much better than what it is, the balcony room 32 was very roten in it’s structure and could be a real danger ‼️
The service in the restaurant was rude and the food very average. The beef very good.

Nous avons séjourné au Château de la Commanderie avec l’envie de profiter d’un établissement 4 étoiles dans un cadre agréable. Le château et son parc ont du charme, mais notre expérience a malheureusement été décevante en raison d’une accumulation de petits dysfonctionnements.

Concernant l’hôtel, nous avons été surpris de constater l’absence de réfrigérateur dans la chambre. Les extérieurs mériteraient également davantage d’entretien : présence de feuilles dans la piscine et l’espace transat non nettoyé, mobilier des espaces détente du parc peu entretenu, parfois sale et laissé en désordre, ce qui ne donne pas l’impression d’un établissement de cette catégorie.

Nous avons également été déçus par le manque de communication de la réception. Lorsque le restaurant de l’hôtel est fermé, il serait appréciable d’orienter les clients vers des restaurants réellement ouverts. La liste qui nous a été remise pour un dimanche soir comportait majoritairement des établissements fermés, ce qui nous a fait perdre du temps.

Côté restauration, plusieurs points sont à revoir : manque d’information sur les menus disponibles selon les jours ( comme le Menu du Lundi qui n’est pas proposé car c’est une veille de Jour Férié mais affiché à l’accueil et que le personnel de l’accueil nous annonce quand même), temps d’attente assez long avec une erreur sur la cuisson de la viande demandée. Là encore, c’est surtout l’organisation et la communication qui nous ont laissés sur notre faim.

Enfin, au bar de l’hôtel, une grande partie des vins présents sur la carte n’était pas disponible, ce qui est étonnant en plein long week-end estival. Les réceptionnistes sont aussi les barmans donc ne connaissent pas beaucoup leurs produits. Les tarifs des consommations nous ont également semblé élevés.

Aucun de ces points, pris individuellement, n’aurait suffi à gâcher notre séjour.

Calme et confortable, un lieu historique qui vaut le détour.
Pros:

Le site arboré dans un lieu historique, le calme malgré la proximité de la ville de Grenoble, la piscine (c’était la canicule!). La chambre était propre et le lit confortable. Le personnel était très gentil.

Certains aspects ont besoin de renouveau (trottoirs, sièges extérieurs)

Fue una parada en un viaje largo y descansamos bien. Tranquilos y cómodos.
Pros:

La atención del personal, personalizándolo sobre todo en un par de camareros y un recepcionista.

Cons:

La última vez q limpiaron las estanterías de la sala de desayunos fue cuando lo abrieron. Si pasara Sanidad, cerraban.
Regular mantenimiento de las instalaciones.
Guardamos las bicicletas en una habitación q nos ofrecieron, bajo llave. Cuando fuimos recogerlas la puerta estaba abierta y en recepción no había constancia de que las hubiéramos dejado.

Onvriendelijk en arrogant personeel. Merendeel was niet in staat om
zich in het Engels verstaanbaar te maken.
De accommodatie kent achterstallig onderhoud.
Dagelijks onderhoud zou beter moeten.
Het tuinmeubilair was vies.
Het zwembad is te klein voor de capaciteit van de accommodatie.
Het ontbijt was redelijk standaard.
Op zondag was het om 09.30 uur niet mogelijk het ontbijt te nuttigen, daar er geen spijzen meer werden aangeboden en men druk was met het opruimen van het servies.
Op de kamer ontbrak het koffiezetapparaat en de mini bar. De wastafel in de badkamer liep niet goed door. Dit gemeld bij de receptie, enige reactie was dat zij daar niks aan konden doen

Very comfortable, good location and excellent restaurant.
Pros:

The character of the property and the food in the restaurant was excellent. Fortunately the air conditioning was strong as the temperature was 38degrees C
