Bay Village Tropical Retreat & Apartments

A great place to stay with everything we needed, including being able to buy reasonably priced drinks from reception. Rooms are very clean and serviced to a high standard. There was everything we needed in the room.
Its a very cosy and compact property with a friendly atmosphere.
For those who have negatively commented on this property, i cant understand why! It has everything needed for a great stay! It is about 20 mins walk to the esplanade though but this didnt bother us.

The property was good, very spacious room. The garden was lovely and car parking inside was safe.

The only downer was the blanket had someone elses hair all over it.

Close to CBD, airport and access to trips out of Cairns.

Walls are very thin, not very private. Woken at all hours by neighbouring rooms snoring and talking

On arrival during check in a newRoom was adjacent and ice macine that was used late and night and early in the morning, noisey and depratly needs to be moved considering the early and late hours its used.

This property is run down and in need of some basic upgrades. Very overpriced for the quality and amenities in the room.

The staff were extremely polite, welcoming and helpful. The restraint and bar are a must.

The resort was nice and clean with friendly staff. The only thing I didn't really like was the bed. It was comfortable but the double bed was actually two singles pushed together and the middle was obviously uncomfortable. I think it should be advertised that this is the bed you get

Check out is at 10am not noon.Walls are very thin, bed extremely hard, and the overall look of the furniture is really 1980s. Needs a fresh look.

We arrived about midnight. Marco v friendly and helpful and even made us fresh toasted sandwiches (incl with gluten free bread). Clean, spacious, lovely apartment. Quiet. Easy to get to from airport late at night. Secure off- street parking.

Property as expected. Great location and communication.

Great location quiet considering how close to the hospital it is, however there is not a lot of sound proofing between the rooms. The conversations in the next room were clearly audible.

The staff were polite and courteous. The problem is with the noise level. You could hear everything going on in the place and it made it impossible to sleep. The walls were so thin, i could hear the neighbour's tv. Would not recommend if you actually need to slee

Wifi kept dropping out.
Loud people in pool after 9 two nights running.
Light from outside comes through blinds.
Cushions on couch need replacing.

Friendly staff, easy check in, laundry facilities, great restaurant!

Very quiet location. Delicious food from bay leaf and can get delivered to your room.
Limited on site car parking area.
