It's a wonderful hotel on the river. the ambiance is very special. The breakfast is very good. A real pleasure to stay in this hotel.

Nothing it was perfect
The balcony on the river was my favorite spot. The river noise was calming and there was a lot of privacy and minimal noise.
The location in Gatlinburg was a short walk to the main spots on the parkway. And it was very safe.

The bathroom (shower and toilet) was small, but manageable. But the shower set up was the best use of space!
Location right on one of Gatlinburg's main streets -- and the little river that flows through town. Easy walk to many attractions. Very friendly and helpful staff. Decent room size, good comfort & cleanliness. Also very nicely designed/furnished. Amazingly well insulated from road noise -- the only sounds that made it through were the loudest motorcycles and big trucks. The little balcony/deck was a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the sound of the flowing water. Shower on the small size but very good and perfectly clean. Free, cooked breakfast! The only reason I did not rate the room as "excellent" is the heater had some trouble keeping the room as warm as I would have liked it.

Quality of a accommodation and staff
We had a noisy aircon unit that we cldn’t turn off during the night, but ‘didn’t like’ is too strong do that little
niggle.
Our stay was perfect. Kaylee, our innkeeper was delightful, very informative and super accommodating. The Inn itself echoed quaint charm throughout. From the balcony over the river, to the welcoming Heirloom Room restaurant(great Eggs Benedict), every detail spoke to my heart. Our room had every modern convenience yet the common areas of the inn were classically "old world". A truly satisfying combination.
The location of Rocky Waters was convenient for walking the strip, yet quietly off the beaten path. After each day of exploring Gatlinburg, I felt like I was coming home.
