Beautiful historic hotel with great service and central location.
Pros:

It was a wonderful location in the historic district. Very walkable to the Basilica and archeological museum, which was fascinating. The hotel itself was beautiful with a long and interesting history.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone I know.
Pros:

Location. Interesting drinks at the bar. Complimentary breakfast provided.

Cons:

An extremely ancient, "tired hotel." The rooms we were given for the price were catastrophically below expectations. The air conditioners only operate at 15% of their capacity. The hotel is in a sorry state, in dire need of a complete renovation.

Gut Stadtbesichtigung sehr gut
Pros:

It was a very relaxing and comfortable stay and we highly recommend the hotel.
Pros:

The employees were all genuinely kind, helpful and attentive to the needs of guests. I loved the ambience of the hotel with the courtyards and multiple places to sit and relax.

Cons:

I didn't care for the design of the shower stall. The glass only covered half of the area, so it was hard to keep warm when showering. I think a good thing to have inside the showers is to have some type of rubber mat. The tiles were very slippery and we ended up putting a hand towel on the floor to stand on rather than take the risk of slipping.

Would recommend
Pros:

Old hotel with lots of history. Nice and pretty undercover courtyards inside. Staff helpful and pleasant. Great location and the area felt safe for solo traveler. Breakfast good

Cons:

I stayed twice in different rooms. First room was large and on two levels with two beds, staircase was wooden and quite slippy, room was quite tired and needed a bit of tlc. Second room was much better.
Bar and courtyards are quite cold in the evening, so a fleece or jumper is needed
