Hotel Beau Site Notre Dame

Weekend breakaway for my birthday 🎉 this hotel was recommended by friends. Check in was smooth. Lovely large room overlooking the valley with stunning views. Nice sized bathroom with excellent shower. Couple of small issues no milk in the fridge you had to go downstairs to the restaurant but there was no information on this. Only one set up pillows if you wanted more you had to go down to reception and ask, thought this was a bit strange as normally you have two pillows per person. Also offered within the room there should’ve been bathrobes and travel kit, which there was none of. Overall, very pleasant. We also had our evening meal in the hotel restaurant excellent service lovely food would recommend.

On a walking trip in The Dordogne our tour advisor booked us here and we couldn’t have been happier with the hotel and the restaurant. Big clean rooms and a nice bathroom. Dinner was excellent with great service and the breakfast was also very good. Rocamadour is a special place.

Hotel Beau Site was lovely and comfortable, and we had an excellent dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Be warned you must park a bit downhill from the hotel, but if you are mobile it’s no problem. A very special spot.

Poor welcome, the key of our room was later given to another guest in error and one of our bags had disappeared, moved to the other guest’s room, then recovered upon our claim, depressing room that one category below to the category that I booked and paid for - no partial refund was made. The owner understood all the issues, apologized and was nice enough to give us a few goodies, that were not necessarily items that we like, but the gesture was appreciated.

Very close to everything

Perfectly located in the middle of town, bit of a walk from the parking but well worth it to be so central.

Rocamadour is an amazing place and been able to stay in the middle of the town was a plus. The hotel and the restaurant are very well located. Is a little bit stressful getting there by car but if you booked the parking in advance is perfect.
I would totally recomend staying here.

The hotel was very clean and nice view. Great location in the middle of the old village. Super nice staff. The only less good thing was that the room fora family of 4 had the children right under the roof which makes their space super hot.

The hotel has a fantastic location, with a balcony overlooking the main pedestrian street – perfect for enjoying the atmosphere. The restaurant was also very good. The building itself is old, which we didn’t mind at all, but the lobby unfortunately had a very musty smell (thankfully not in the room).

Our room was modernly renovated, with a comfortable bed and overall stylish design. The only downside was that the shower was located inside a whirlpool tub, which made it quite slippery, and the showerhead didn’t stay in place very well.

The price was on the expensive side, almost €200 per night without breakfast, which felt a bit high for what was offered.

Despite these minor issues, we really enjoyed our stay. If we return to Rocamadour, we would definitely consider staying here again.

Lovely overnight stay, hotel has lots of character with great position in the city. Restaurant also served great food, reserved a table in advance to get a table overlooking the valley.

The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of Rocamadour. It is clean and quiet. The room was very nice but the air con wasn’t great, the Wi-Fi was pretty poor and it could have done with a fridge even for a standard room. They offer a buffet breakfast in the main restaurant just across the road or some very good options in their pretty bar area, next to the restaurant. Overall, a good hotel.

Perfect hotel room exactly where you want to be. It does require some walking with luggage and there is no parking close by so highly recommend small bag you can easily carry. Fortunately we had read about that beforehand
