Excellent buffet breakfast; friendly accommodating staff; pretty views of ocean and gardens from most units; pleasant ambience in swimming pool/restaurant/bar area; good arrangements with several beachside operators who provided beach lounge chairs & umbrellas for free to Plantation clients.
slow evening dinner service in restaurant; dated furnishings/decor in units; units with kitchen facilities should include a table and chairs inside the unit; uppermost level units are only accessible via narrow sharply rising twisted pathways full of potholes and broken pavement (and no guard rails of any kind) making them dangerous for driving and quite scary for folks with mobility challenges.

We stayed here for four nights in January and were very happy with our stay. The villa apartment was a quick walk from reception and restaurant with a beautiful view over lush tropical vegetation to the bay. It was spacious, clean, modern and quiet - I believe they recently renovated the rooms. The kitchenette was equipped ok for small and simple meals but not for anything more elaborate. We found the bed super comfy and slept so well - the a/c was thankfully positioned away from the bed. The breakfast was just ok, nothing special except the croissants were very nice. Any special coffees have to be ordered and are charged separately and fresh fruit bowls are included but also need to be ordered separately. One morning they had no butter, another they took a long time to provide fresh coffee. There were no veggies like cucumbers or tomatoes or sauteed mushrooms. The walk to the beach is 5 minutes down the hill and we went to Coco Beach Club every day which we found looked most appealing of the four clubs that hotel guests have access to. Make sure you reserve because it gets full especially on weekends. The beach is beautiful and our stay was so relaxing. If the waves were rough we went to the far end of the bay where it was quieter. We didn’t rent a car but stopped with the taxi at the supermarket on the way from the airport to stock up on water, snacks and some drinks. There’s also a lovely French supermarket in the village with all kinds of delicious items that’s worth going to. The walk to the village at night is a pleasant 10 min walk, and you’ll find restaurants, spa, post office, bars etc there. The hotel also organized us a massage in our room with Maria which was lovely. And they let us check out late on the last day. We didn’t want to leave and would definitely come back.
Schone kamer en het personeel was heel vriendelijk vooral bij het diner. Heerlijk gegeten daar!
Ontbijt! Iedere dag scrambled eggs. Een gewoon eitje was er niet. Af en toe kwamen ze langs met een schaaltje fruit. Heel veel ananas en weinig meloen. Zet dit gewoon bij het buffet neer. Ik miste ook tomaat en komkommer.
