We visited China Blue and thoroughly enjoyed the excellent food. What made the experience truly special, however, was the outstanding service. Ogawa-san and Ebata-san were exceptional. Their care, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality exceeded all expectations. They looked after us so thoughtfully and made us feel incredibly welcome. Thank you both for creating such a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended!
Also the room. Incredible no hair, no dust best room I have in my entire my life. Special thanks to housekeeping Okuzumi, Naoko, Nakamura and Sato. They are the best housekeeper ever .
Die Sauberkeit und das hervorragende Frühstück.
Die Mitarbeiter waren so unfreundlich. Als wenn man bei jeder Frage gestört hätte.
We were hesitant to fly to Japan after my husband had a medical condition but after communicating with Neil the GM and Kanno san my mind was put at ease and we proceeded with the trip. What a great decision! It was like all of our worries just melted when we walked into the room. Some reviews mentioned the lounge is smaller than other properties, only has cold food and no sweets. Think about it - you are fortunate enough visit a lounge at a luxury property and enjoy the complimentary food served by incredible people like Harunna. The size of the lounge is not what matters - it is the service, the quality of the food and the people all of which is outstanding. By the way, there was warm food and as someone with a sweet tooth, I asked for dessert and they brought us some! In fact, one of nights we were given an entire plate of mini cakes to the room which we knew we would never be able to eat! I highly recommend this property and would like to suggest that if you stay, please ask for what you need vs. being disappointed since they are so willing to assist guests in anyway possible. Every time we left the room, someone was one step ahead trying to help - whether it was Maria who was awesome in storing our bags and making us laugh or Taiki for helping us with transporation. The list just goes on. Don't sweat the small stuff and enjoy how great it is to be in Japan, at the Conrad, with people who care that guests have a memorable, fantastic stay.
Schönes Zimmer mit wunderschönem Ausblick
Beautiful upscale hotel with lots of friendly service personal.
The breakfast in the main restaurant and executive lounge are wonderful.
The cocktail hour in the executive lounge is basic and more could be done with the food but the staff is excellent.
The desk staff and the executive floor staff are wonderful.
A definite repeat hotel
I stayed at both the Conrad Tokyo and the Grand Hyatt Tokyo during this trip, and the Conrad was the clear winner. I would definitely stay here again.
The hotel has a peaceful atmosphere while still being in a very convenient location. It's within walking distance of Tsukiji Market and the Ginza shopping district, making it an excellent base for exploring Tokyo.
The Executive Lounge is fantastic, with beautiful views overlooking the park. Our room was also noticeably more spacious than the one we had at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo. While Grand Hyatt's rooms are larger than many Tokyo hotels, such as the Hilton, I found the Conrad's layout and overall comfort to be superior.
What impressed me most was the service. We had an early morning flight before breakfast service began, and the hotel thoughtfully prepared a takeaway breakfast with food and beverages for us. It was a small gesture that made a big difference and perfectly reflected the exceptional hospitality throughout our stay.
Conrad Tokyo exceeded my expectations in every way, and I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Notes:
1. The view from the lounge and particularly from the room of the bay and the Japanese garden at night is incredible, and is arguably worth the price of the room alone.
2. While the location is great from a geographic perspective, it’s not quite as walkable as some of the nearby areas. It’s not an issue because of world class chikatetsu (subway) and the taxi systems, but it is worth noting if you are used to more walkable areas like Shibuya or Ginza.
We're very grateful for Conrad Tokyo for making our stay in Japan very comfortable and relaxing even in the peak of the hot and humid summer weather 🥵
As soon as we arrived late at night via Limousine Bus from the airport, we were welcomed and assisted (our luggages were taken straight to our hotel room!).
We mostly stayed inside our hotel room during this trip because of the heat wave. In-room dining service was quick and immaculate, and the attentiveness towards our needs were top-notch (water, coffee/creamer refills, etc). The breakfast buffet was always something I looked forward to everyday (don't skip on the seafood rice bowl). For evenings, the 28F Bar & Lounge is worth a stop, though the main highlight for me was the live music. The musicians were consistently impressive, and the volume was just right (not too loud).
Conrad Hotel's close proximity to multiple train stations and the Caretta Shiodome mall was very convenient as well.
We received the same care and attention after checking out from the hotel and getting picked up by the Limousine Bus. Looking forward to booking another stay at Conrad Tokyo (during the colder seasons next time lol).
If you are celebrating a special occasion or looking for top-tier luxury hospitality in Tokyo, I cannot recommend Conrad Tokyo enough. We stayed here on July 19 for a double celebration—our honeymoon and a quiet moment ahead of my upcoming retirement. Having recently visited Conrad properties in Bali, Seoul, and Osaka, and with Conrad Bangkok next on our list, this stay truly showcased the absolute best of the Conrad brand.
From the moment we arrived, the entire experience was faultless. Our upgraded room offered a breathtaking panoramic view of Tokyo Bay, accompanied by thoughtful touches like a handwritten welcome note, fresh fruit, and an anniversary cake. For anyone visiting, I highly recommend making the most of the Executive Lounge—the evening cocktail service and overall ambiance were top-notch. Breakfast at Cerise was equally exceptional with a fantastic food spread and memorable service.
What truly sets Conrad Tokyo apart is its outstanding team. Amika touched our hearts by personally visiting our room with a warm smile and a fine bottle of sake to celebrate with us. Rena and Peter at the Executive Lounge elevated our evenings with superb drinks and genuine hospitality. Rudra handled a chaotic moment with remarkable calmness and efficiency when I accidentally left my mobile phone behind after checkout. At Cerise, Manager Lee and the dining team created a truly memorable experience with a beautifully decorated table and photos we will treasure forever. We also owe a huge thank you to Mariko, Nadia, and Sumiyo for their seamless pre-arrival assistance that made the entire trip stress-free.
Whether for business or a once-in-a-lifetime personal milestone, Conrad Tokyo delivers an extraordinary experience that goes far beyond standard hotel service. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Japan!
Fantastic hotel, great gym, great swimming pool, amazing breakfast. Excellent stay. Highly recommended.
I liked everything. The hotel is just too good.
Location
It's close to Haneda airport and a business district. It's a 30m or so taxi to most tourist attractions like Shinjuku. So depends on what you like.
Entrance
Several friendly people greet you at the door then usher you through two rooms to a lift. That lift takes you to the lobby. From the lobby you take another lift to your room. Front desk people were friendly and helpful. Never saw a queue. They were very accommodating - even by email in advance. We arrived around 2a and paid for a room the night before. Even at 2a they were alert snd helpful.
Lobby
Several beautiful places to sit and have coffee w a view.
Restaurants
There are several. We only ate at the breakfast restaurant. It was a bit small and crowded w an under par selection. We asked for a table away from the crowds and they immediately filled the seats around us defeating the purpose.
Views
Some of the best views in Tokyo. Spectacular.
Rooms
Plush. Modern amenities. Roomy. Excellent views.
Executive Lounge
Small. Split in half by the hallway. Excellent views. Small selection of food. Weird security system where you have to be on a list. They should make it larger.
Wifi
Excellent. Fast and reliable.
Rubber Duck
Years ago most Conrads had rubber ducks in the tub. Happy to see this one continues the tradition.
Conclusion
We loved this place. It was the luxury we needed at the end of our trip.
We absolutely love the Conrad Tokyo. This was our 2nd time staying and it was as good as we remembered it. Even better actually because one of the staff members who we connected with three years ago (Peter), made it a point to visit us. He gave us a special little welcome gift and was an absolute delight to talk with. He is incredibly kind and welcoming as is the entire staff at this hotel. And I really mean it. Everyone is so good at being of service and we couldn't feel more special when we visit. As for the environment, it's beautiful. Soaring ceilings, smells amazing, a wonderful lounge with great views. The rooms are incredibly spacious, beds and couch are luxurious and comfortable and the shower is excellent. Everything is beautiful in this hotel. It's also a great location. Very close to Tsukiji, and very easy and quick to get to all the great neighborhoods as the subway station is right there. Again, the people at this hotel are what make it so special. Treat yourself when you're there. You won't regret it.
This is a very nice building with rooms all on upper floors, however I have a complaint. I was upgraded to the top executive level (floor 37) mid-stay because they did not have a room available as an upgrade upon arrival. It was difficult to get into the executive lounge, even though my room was on the executive level, because of "the list" they had to reference each time. The lounge is not exactly the best one I have seen with cold appetizers and a strange requirement for a reservation to have a cocktail on Friday and Saturday evenings. Normally I would be appreciative of the upgrade and leave it alone, however this rubbed me the wrong way. Literally every time I tried to go into the executive lounge they had an issue, it would have been nice if they fixed the issue the first time it happened. I traveled for work for many years and was VERY loyal to Hilton brands. This was an expensive spend using HHonors points and it made me feel unwelcome. Additionally, the rooms have seen better days, banged up wood furniture and outdated bathrooms in my humble opinion.
Our stay at Conrad Tokyo was exceptional from start to finish. As Lifetime Hilton Diamond members, we have stayed at numerous Hilton properties around the world, and Conrad Tokyo truly stands out. What made this stay so memorable was the exceptional staff and the genuine hospitality we experienced throughout our visit.
A special thank you to Peter Mizutani, who truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. His genuine kindness, attention to detail, and willingness to help made our stay especially memorable. He is a real credit to the hotel.
Every member of the staff was warm, friendly, and eager to assist with anything we needed. The hotel’s location and beautiful facilities were outstanding, and the food at the restaurants was exceptional—every meal was beautifully prepared and of the highest quality.
We highly recommend Conrad Tokyo and look forward to returning
Nice hotel and staff. Excellent breakfast in lounge!
We stayed in July 2026 for four nights at the front end of our two weeks in Japan and the last two nights. Both times we had adjoining King-Twin rooms. This property delivered 100% on its reputation as a luxury property. Rooms were well-appointed, housekeeping impeccable, service was always professional, and breakfast was delicious. The location is fantastic for visiting Tokyo as it is maybe 20 minute drive from HND airport. There is also a large metro station in the complex. A special commendation for Souta at the front desk who was very accommodating to me and my family during our stay. We will stay here again next time in Tokyo, and strongly recommend Conrad Tokyo.
This hotel is elegant, Stylish, calm, tranquil - luxury.
The enormous lobby is polished and simple. The staff professional and courteous. The views are stunning.
View from the rooms overlooking the gardens and harbour are amazing. Beautifully comfortable and stylishly decorated they provide a wonderful panoramic vista. All the bedrooms must have great view as the hotel only starts on the 28th floor!
Nespresso coffee machines in the room is always a nice touch.
The beds are large and the most comfortable we experienced in japan.
The bathrooms, with separate wc and shower are modern and well equipped with nice toiletries. They have a window into the bedroom...which gives you a view whilst bathing I suppose (there is a blind for your squeamish partner).
The little teddy bear are turn down is a lovely touch.
Breakfast gets busy and I understand some complaints about that - but our experience was good. One morning we had breakfast in China Blue - a more calming experience.
We ate also in China Blue for dinner - very good indeed. Bar service was as you would expect - high end (perhaps with prices to match).
The hotel is only 15 mins walk from Ginza Six, but the immediate area outside is moderately intimidating - the hotel is essentially surrounded by highways...the final few minutes walking at the hotel aren't the most pleasant. However within 5 to 10 minutes you are at massive, formal gardens. It's also only 5 mins from the closest subway.
From Haneda we were only 25 mins by car/taxi.
The Conrad Tokyo is a beautiful property and a stay we’d happily repeat. Everything about it felt polished and well run, and it’s a genuinely lovely place to base yourself in the city.
A special word on the breakfast, which was incredible. It’s the kind of morning spread that makes you want to get up and get to it, and it was a highlight of our stay every single day.
We would definitely go back. If you’re looking for a refined, reliable luxury hotel in Tokyo, the Conrad is an easy one to recommend.
We had a great one-night stay at the Conrad Tokyo. The standard king room was surprisingly spacious, with beautiful views of the city and the trains passing below—such a uniquely Tokyo experience.
Everyone on staff was warm and welcoming, and we really appreciated them taking the time to show us around the pool and fitness area.
Special thanks to the concierge Shuhei Nishikawa for being so patient in helping us choose a lovely, reasonably priced omakase spot in Ginza and for taking care of the reservation.
We only wish our stay could have been longer.
The service at this hotel is subpar for a luxury brand hotel.
Starting from check in. I stood here for good 5 minutes before I had to go up to someone and ask where the line was. He said there was no line that the greeter would come to take my name. Well she never did. I had to go up to her and tell her I’m waiting to check in.
Check in took too long. So many pieces of paper and unnecessary information that made the check in process even more cumbersome than it already was.
Then no one explained that there is a different pedestrian entrance and we keep walking in the driveway until the third day when we accidentally discovered the pedestrian entrance. That would have been helpful information that the front desk could give but they didn’t.
Breakfast- the two days we dined downstairs at the main restaurant, it took them more than 15 mins to bring out coffee. The service was really slow, second day I had to ask for my coffee multiple times and I could hear people at near by tables saying the same thing and then made to order eggs being delivered to wrong tables.
The property itself is nice. Big rooms. We got a view of the gardens near by.
Honestly, for the price I would expect better service. If I come back to Tokyo, I would not return to this hotel for their subpar service.
