Conrad Tokyo. Fantastic place to stay!
Pros:

Location great. Atmosphere wonderful. Rooms beautiful. Very nice hotel for the money! Peter Mizutani represented the Conrad extremely well. He went out of his way to make our stay fantastic! Peter Mizutani, one of the guest relations managers. Amazing young man that represents the Conrad very well.
Pros:

Peter, went out of his way to welcome and accommodate us while we stayed at the Conrad. From helping with meals-selection to getting us reservations with best river views .

Additionally he told us about taking the sky bridge to several shopping areas.

We are extremely grateful and pleased with the service he and his staff gave us.

First time in Japan
Pros:

Top of the line, hotel. Very high class. Fantastic staff. I've never been to a place that offers more, high level customer service. Everyone wants to make totally sure, that you are taken care of. If you need anything, they will go out of their way to get it for you. Absolutely amazing. These people take pride in everything they do. Cars are spotless. Streets are clean. Streets are safe. The views are great.
This is a place that will not disappoint. The rooms are large with tubs, almost in the room. It is behind glass in the bathroom. Yea, I am so thrilled that I got to stay at this beautiful hotel on my trip.
Highly recommend.

Faultless Service and Support
Pros:

My wife and Stayed at the Conrad Tokyo for three nights in February. The overall standards, friendliness and quality of service were impeccable. The hotel was immaculate, tasteful and impressive, without being in any way ostentatious.
Our room commanded spectacular vistas of Tokyo bay. The quality and variety of food on offer for breakfast was unsurpassed and the staff went out of there way to create a truly memorable experience for us both. A particular mention of appreciation must be made to Yohei, the Director of Rooms, who greeted us on arrival, took time to to talk with us about the property, and subsequently managed to trace a lost item that I left behind on the train after we had left the hotel.
Many thanks all round.

Pros:

Multiple visits. Not consistent with the details, but never bad. I will continue to stay here because overall it is the best hotel in my opinion. I feel like when booking via Amex you get a better experience than booking direct, even with hotel status.

Don't hesitate to book this hotel
Pros:

Upon our arrival on the 28th floor (it's where the front desk is located), we were greeted by Peter, who was extremely helpful and friendly. He led us to the front desk to check-in where Sho helped us get our room keys and also reserved a time for us in the executive lounge later in the afternoon. Our room was located on the 31st floor and the room was gorgeous with a beautiful view of the Ginza area. There was a mini fridge with a coffee maker and electric kettle. The bathroom had a separate shower and tub with another area for the toilet (bathroom was very spacious).

The Conrad Tokyo also had a turn down service, but we declined. Even though we had declined the service, the staff gave us a small Conrad bear along with ice when we asked if they had an ice machine. The room itself was so clean and spotless, with even the windows not having a spot on it. The bed along with pillows were magical (I don't think I have slept so well in a hotel bed before!).

We ordered room service and our order came within 15 to 20 minutes even though we were told it would take about 40 minutes.

Since my wife is a Hilton Diamond member, we got to enjoy the breakfast on the 28th floor and it was fantastic. Overall, I would say this is the best hotel I have ever stayed at.

Beautiful inside and out
Pros:

This property has one of the warmest service in any property I’ve encountered around the world. From check in by Vincent Hsu, the friendly and proactive vibes set the tone I felt in this too short stay. The lovely and warm service I felt at the lounge were deeply felt. The food at the lounge and Cerise were also quite strong. They had Hachis Parmentier at the lounge during evening reception which was incredibly tasty. The highlight for me was the genuinely warm service of the lounge staff, thanks for a lovely stay.

Incredible Stay
Pros:

My experience at the Conrad Tokyo was exceptional, but the absolute highlight was my time at the spa with Maria. She is truly attentive; she made sure every detail of the treatment was perfect and tailored to what I needed. It was one of the most relaxing and professional spa experiences I’ve had. The high standard of service from Maria and the rest of the team made my stay feel truly special. Highly recommend!

One of the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at
Pros:

One of the best hotel I’ve stayed at in my life. Perfect experience through and through. There isn’t a better hotel in Tokyo and possibly even Japan. Trumps all the other newer flashier choices in town. Trust me, you will not go wrong

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Tokyo
Pros:

This is a beautiful hotel right in the heart of Tokyo. It's an easy walk to the metro station and has fantastic views of Tokyo Bay. Check in was easy, and the lobby and bar area feel very spacious with super high ceilings.

The room was well appointed with everything you could possible need. I loved the Byredo toiletries. Room was also very quiet. There's zero street noise since you're so high up.

The breakfast buffet area had a combination of a la carte items which were included and buffet style dishes. Food and service were excellent.

Would highly recommend!

Pleasant stay, excellent breakfast
Pros:

We stayed here for a week while we saw family and friends and had a pleasant time. We are in Tokyo about once a year and this was not the hotel we usually stay at, but we had a pleasant stay. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, and the service is very kind. I especially liked the breakfast, which offers both Western and Japanese options like natto (which is exactly what I want as a returning Japanese expat).

None of these are deal breakers, but we did find the bathroom sinks to be ridiculously low (even for a short Japanese person), and the bathroom door is frosted glass, which means that you can't turn the light on without disturbing anyone else in the room. The light switches are all buttons with explanations in small font, which means you can't find the right switch in the dark (I also once was trying to move the clock out of the way and ended up hitting my knuckle lightly against them and accidentally turned lights on in the middle of the night).

We also wished the location was more convenient. It's near the Shiodome Oedo line, which is limiting, and you have to go to Shimbashi for most destinations, which is about an 8-10 minute walk. If you are with anyone who is not super mobile, you should probably plan on taking cabs.

I'd definitely stay here again if the price was right.

Great hotel with a minor- check-in experience
Pros:

This hotel offers stunning views and immaculately clean, generously sized rooms, making it a comfortable and scenic base in Tokyo.

Pros
• Incredible panoramic views
• Spacious, well-appointed rooms
• Excellent breakfast with a great selection

Cons
• Underwhelming check-in experience – Surprisingly, this was the only five-star hotel in Japan that did not offer a welcome drink, which would have been especially appreciated after a 20-hour journey to Tokyo.
• Dining flexibility – On one evening, we asked if we could order a dish featured at one of the hotel’s restaurants from the room service menu while dining at the restaurant itself. We were told this wasn’t possible and that we would need to return to our room to have it.
• Quiet surroundings at night – Although conveniently located near the station, the immediate area feels quite deserted after dark.

Wonderful experience
Pros:

We have stayed four nights and will be staying for three more in a week. Our experience here has been nothing short of wonderful. From check in with Emily to the executive lounge with Rudra, everyone has been very courteous and helpful. Breakfast at Cerise is great, and the evening cocktail hour in the executive lounge is very nice.

Truly exceptional
Pros:

We stayed for 5 nights in December 2025, occupying two rooms as a family of five. Japanese five star hotels are generally excellent but the service at this property was exceptional.

The front office team could not have been more helpful. I had left a brand new camera with hundreds of photos from our trip in an Uber in Kyoto. The Conrad team dealt with the matter seamlessly, arranging for the item to be shipped from the police station in Kyoto (where the Uber driver had dropped it off). It arrived safely at the Conrad within 24 hours - only in Japan!

The rooms are spacious and elegant. Breakfast was excellent as were the drinks and food in the bar with wonderful views. We will be back for sure!
