Pros
• Incredible panoramic views
• Spacious, well-appointed rooms
• Excellent breakfast with a great selection
Cons
• Underwhelming check-in experience – Surprisingly, this was the only five-star hotel in Japan that did not offer a welcome drink, which would have been especially appreciated after a 20-hour journey to Tokyo.
• Dining flexibility – On one evening, we asked if we could order a dish featured at one of the hotel’s restaurants from the room service menu while dining at the restaurant itself. We were told this wasn’t possible and that we would need to return to our room to have it.
• Quiet surroundings at night – Although conveniently located near the station, the immediate area feels quite deserted after dark.
We have stayed four nights and will be staying for three more in a week. Our experience here has been nothing short of wonderful. From check in with Emily to the executive lounge with Rudra, everyone has been very courteous and helpful. Breakfast at Cerise is great, and the evening cocktail hour in the executive lounge is very nice.
We stayed for 5 nights in December 2025, occupying two rooms as a family of five. Japanese five star hotels are generally excellent but the service at this property was exceptional.
The front office team could not have been more helpful. I had left a brand new camera with hundreds of photos from our trip in an Uber in Kyoto. The Conrad team dealt with the matter seamlessly, arranging for the item to be shipped from the police station in Kyoto (where the Uber driver had dropped it off). It arrived safely at the Conrad within 24 hours - only in Japan!
The rooms are spacious and elegant. Breakfast was excellent as were the drinks and food in the bar with wonderful views. We will be back for sure!
Had a wonderful stay at Conrad Tokyo.
Special thanks to Shun Watanabe for his kind support during my late check-in and for arranging a room upgrade, which made my stay very comfortable from the first night.
I would also like to thank Souta Sugimura for his warm and thoughtful assistance after check-out, especially when helping me with directions to Haneda Airport.
These small but sincere moments of hospitality made my first trip to Japan truly memorable. I will be returning to Conrad Tokyo again on the 14th.
Met our high expectations. Attentive staff with a knowledgeable and helpful concierge desk. Excellent spa. Outstanding rooms and gorgeous views from every window. Absolutely worth a stay. Don’t miss the breakfast buffet. They do it right.
One of the top hotels in Hilton family. Conrad outperformed all expectations: from meet and greet and check-in in the business lounge, to arranging flowers for my wife’s birthday ahead of time. The flower arrangement was the best! My wife was so happy. The breakfast was great. The lounge/bar is very popular and pretty good as well. The views are amazing! Close to the Old Fish Market for the best sushi in the world. We will definitely be back. Thank you to the ladies in the business lounge, that are so friendly and professional!!!
I stayed here for just one night while passing through Tokyo and didn’t have particularly high expectations — but I was very pleasantly surprised. The service was thoughtful and welcoming, the suite was very nice, and the little bear we received was such a sweet touch.
The turndown service, complete with tea, showed a level of attention to detail that felt both personal and charming. These small, considerate gestures really stood out and made the short stay memorable.
A lovely experience overall, especially for a brief stopover. I will be coming back next year for longer stay!
Great Hotel. Amazing rooms. Nice restaurants. Good price/value. Good location. Great staff. Highly recommend. Will be back
gayet güzel bir kahvaltı idi
The hotel and staff were amazing! Super convienent to have the subway below for commuting. I would stay here again
Very good breakfast. Beautiful view to the harbour. Everything is great
Nothing
The Conrad Tokyo delivered an exceptional luxury experience from start to finish. The level of service and attention to detail were consistently excellent, even during peak sakura season in March 2025. Everything felt calm, polished, and very well managed.
Breakfast deserves special mention. The variety and quality were outstanding, easily one of the best hotel breakfasts I can recall across many international stays. It felt thoughtful and elevated rather than excessive, with consistently delicious options.
I tend to be cautious with larger, global hotel brands, but the Conrad Tokyo exceeded expectations on every front. The location is ideal, walkable to Ginza and extremely convenient to the train station, making it effortless to navigate the city.
Rooms were notably spacious for Tokyo, and traveling with teens, the connecting rooms were well laid out and comfortable without compromising on luxury. The hotel strikes a rare balance between efficiency and warmth.
I would recommend the Conrad Tokyo without hesitation to luxury travelers seeking a refined, reliable, and truly high-end base in Tokyo. It’s a hotel I very much look forward to returning to.
Overall, the hotel was pleasant, but I was extremely disappointed with the bed. It was far too soft in the middle, causing my body to sink uncomfortably into a U-shape, which made for a restless night’s sleep
We stayed at Conrad Tokyo from December 31 to January 1 for New Year’s Eve, and the experience was truly exceptional.
Despite how busy the hotel was, the check-in process on December 31 was very smooth and well organized. The staff handled everything efficiently and professionally, which immediately made us feel welcome. We were informed that the afternoon tea schedule had been adjusted due to the year-end and New Year holidays, which was understandable and clearly communicated.
During cocktail time, we were escorted to one of the best seats on the 28th floor with a beautiful view of Tokyo Tower. The table we were seated at was beautifully set, and the centerpiece placed on the table was very elegant, adding a refined and festive touch to the atmosphere. It was an unforgettable setting, and we were able to enjoy a truly wonderful New Year’s Eve in a relaxed and luxurious environment.
For breakfast, we were given a window-side table at China Blue, where we enjoyed delicious pancakes and egg dishes. In celebration of the New Year, traditional Japanese osechi dishes were also available, which made the experience even more special and allowed us to enjoy a lovely New Year’s morning.
Although we were offered a late check-out, we had other plans. Even so, the staff kindly assisted us with check-out at the executive lounge, where we enjoyed a delicious matcha latte. Their thoughtfulness and hospitality were greatly appreciated.
Thanks to the attentive service, elegant details, and beautiful setting, we were able to spend a memorable and meaningful New Year at Conrad Tokyo.
One of the few best Conrad we have ever stayed in!
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, from the seamless check-in to the orientation team who personally escorted us to our room. As Diamond Elite members, we were thrilled to receive an amazing upgrade upon arrival, featuring a room overlooking the stunning Tokyo Bay and the gardens. The room was perfectly clean and well-maintained throughout our stay.
Although we missed the afternoon tea at the Executive Lounge, we were able to attend the evening cocktail hour, which offered a fantastic variety of options. For our complimentary breakfast, we headed down to the restaurant and were seated in the elite member section, a comfortable booth with a gorgeous view. The lobster omelette was a standout—absolutely delicious—among a great selection of Japanese and Western dishes. The baked goods were also excellent.
Location is convenient, a short walk to a nearby subway station and the hotel is away from the city noise and the crowd. It was a little chilly and rainy when we were there but next time we would love to take a stroll in the park across from the hotel.
Would love to return again!
