The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center

We were in the area for a soccer tournament and stayed at this hotel because of the proximity to the fields. It was very close. The room was clean. Hotel is renovating the restaurant, so there's some construction due to that. We ordered burgers the first night there. My son's burger was not correct (had onions) but mine was as ordered.
Breakfast was from 7-9am, which is a pretty short range, I think.

We spent two nights, 2/27 and 28 for my daughter’s volleyball tournament. We chose the inn because they have an attached restaurant. We’ve stayed here before many times. Upon check in we couldn’t help but notice that the restaurant was closed due to renovations. After complaining to the desk staff, they pointed to a small alert on their website regarding the closed restaurant.

I guess you need to read the entire website before booking. It’s a shame. They didn’t even have coffee set up in the lobby to try to accommodate for the inconvenience. They could not have cared less.

We won’t be back.

We had a lovely stay here while doing a campus tour. Liz,our concierge , went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She is a treasure and we will never forget her kindness. Not only is she an asset to the University, she is a shining star in the hospitality sector. The Inn is the perfect location for tours and exploring Blacksburg. Clean, well appointed rooms and comfortable beds.

I absolutely love staying here - wonderful staff and atmosphere. So convenient being right on the Virginia Tech campus.

From the beautiful entrance to the surrounding landscape, this is an outstanding place to stay. The HVAC system worked well and the front office is resplendent in a gorgeous (school color resembling) flower arrangement. The rooms are clean and colorful. It has nice sized flatscreens, a mini fridge, and Directv programming. Great staff. Very friendly and accommodating.

Have been going to the The Inn at VA Tech and Skelton Conf Ctr for more than 6+ yrs and WILL NOT stay anywhere else. The staff is OUTSTANDING, Friendly, Helpful and Always there to help.
The food is great, the rooms - clean and comfy.
If you haven't already joined the "Parents Club" do it now.
Looking forward to my next visit.

The place to stay if you are visiting Virginia Tech. Can’t beat the convenience and property is beautiful and just blends in with the campus.

Super clean and peaceful

Breakfast buffet was great! Room was clean, staff very friendly.

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Rooms were comfortable and very clean.

The staff was fantastic, the hotel building and lobby were beautiful, breakfast was very good. The only thing that made it not a full five star review was that the room itself was slightly aged feeling and could have used a refresh. Otherwise, a really excellent stay and we would stay again without hesitation! It was an incredibly convenient location for a campus tour, of course, but it seemed like a great business hotel as well.

Quiet, comfortable, clean and convenient. The Inn at VT is perfect for visiting the campus and the surrounding areas. The staff was eager and friendly and the rooms were comfortable.

Wonderful and friendly check in, amazing room

Beautiful location. Staff were extremely nice. Restaurant was wonderful and very tasty for both breakfast and dinner. Super quiet and just all around a wonderful experience. Highly recommend.

Nice central location for visiting VT!

Close to dining and transportation. Clean , friendly, helpful staff. We would stay there again.
