Hampton Inn & Suites Clinton - I-26

Great customer service from Lindsey. Very professional. Room was very spacious ,nice and clean . Quiet and peaceful.We was on the 4th floor. Went for breakfast around 7:03am. Was greeted by the server named Thomas very friendly and welcoming guy. Overall experience was very nice. Have no complaints.

I have used this property several times because it is always quiet, clean and friendly staff.

Property is undergoing a renovation, which appears to be going well.

The primary issue is it is almost impossible to find a staff member. 5 times over three days, I went to the front desk to try to resolve an issue. Could never locate a staff member. Couldn’t find one to get a receipt at checkout (at 8:00 a.m.) either. This also happened the last time I stayed at this property. Staffing is clearly inadequate.

The check-in process was very fast, and the staff was very friendly. Their upgraded rooms added a nice touch as well.

Went during construction, the hotel should have informed us that’s there’s lots of dust from construction. The room next to us had the TV on 24/7, we let staff know and nothing was done. There were lots of dust all over even at check in desk And while getting breakfast

Kind of a secluded building, but not scary at all. Would definitely stay there again. Their parking lot adjoins one for a Mexican Restaurant that was also very good.

First, staff were nowhere to be found. We arrived around 6 PM on a Friday evening to check in. I stood at the front desk for at least 10 minutes with nobody there. I ended up trying to find a main number to call the property to see if we could get someone to come out and check us in. There were two other times that I went to the front desk during our two nice day for very minor issues. Again, there was no one to be found.

I will give the property a break for the lobby area, being disheveled, as they were doing some pretty substantial work. However, the elevators and hallways look like they hadn’t been swept in weeks.

The room itself was acceptable. The only issue is the shampoo dispenser that was missing from the shower had never been replaced.

Room was nice. The hotel is going through a renovation so construction areas were draped off and floors torn up. Breakfast was good but in a meeting room with limited seating because of construction. Room was clean and beds comfortable.

Very warm check in. The room is very clean and neat. Supplies are enough. Easy and convenient to get to right off of I-26. A wonderful Mexican restaurant next door. The food there is amazing. Their Margaritas are actually the best we’ve ever had. Motel is a great place to stay over.

The property was nice,quiet, and clean. It was a quick and easy check in plus the staff was very nice as well.

Loved the roll in shower. The shower chair was a little low. It could be about the same height as a wheelchair. Was easy to get on but a little difficult to get back in wheelchair when finshed with shower. Room was spacious and clean.

The young man working the front desk was nice !!

However the hotel is dated and tired.

Had to switch rooms due to toilet not working. The toilet in the 2nd room self flushed all night.

Took a shower and wiped the floor and the towel was black from dirt.

Not recommended!
