Location and price
When we got there the lobby entrance was locked. So we called the number on the door. The person on the phone said there was no bookings that day. They still showed up after 20 minutes.
Close to port for the cruise. Allows parking for cruise
Not very clean. There was a dead roach closes till the base of the bed. Ice maker wasn’t working until my daughter turned it on. Only allows one vehicle in a room to park for cruise. So make sure you ride together. If not you have to pay additional $80 for second car
Not much of a breakfast.
The hotel needs to be upgraded. it is beginning to show it's age.

Location and parking is why we stay. Rooms still smell musty. Realizing that the place is older and run down I feel that the fresh paint in some rooms is looking better. I can see that housekeeping is doing a great job keeping things things clean.
I don’t like the smell of. I don’t like that parking isn’t included after 7 days while on a cruise and that it is now 11 dollars a day. I heard rumors that this may be Port Authorities issue but do not know for sure.
They ended up charging my debit card twice & refused to refund the overcharge. I was told to ‘dispute it with my bank’! This was after showing proof that the charge was posted to my bank twice! I will never stay there again!
We always stay that the Spanish Inn while in Galveston. Every thing about it including its uniqueness we love and adore!
Property is older but this is where we stay for the one night before a cruise. We are here to sleep. Beds and rooms are clean. Bathrooms are clean. We can park our car here for our cruise without worry or high costs.

When we got to the hotel, they told us they didn't have a room for us. It was very sad and we are very disappointed 😞

The paint is chipping off of the metal railings
There’s no elevator to take your suitcase up to your room so you have to bump your suitcase up the steps
Nothing is within walking distance here to go get something to eat or do anything.
The staff has been awesome very helpful. The property itself definitely needs some upkeep..
This is our second time staying here and will be back again. Very convient for cruising out of Galveston. Clean and friendly service.
I will not stay here again. It’s old and out of date which I was okay with. But there were lots of insects in our room so we requested to be moved. Our second room had a full toilet that didn’t flush! When we asked for another new room we were told “i don’t know if we can. you’ll probably find something you don’t like with that one too”
