Great staff;great room and location and a great value
Open air through all floors is nice during the day but could hear people talking at 6am on. They can’t do anything about it so just relaxed and got use to it.
A lovely historic hotel stylishly remodeled and comfortable. We loved the Tezontle restaurant, the welcome cocktail, the Hernan Cortez, the morning breakfast as well as the welcoming staff… especially Laura at the front desk, always with a smile as we arrived back at the end of the day.
Congestion in front of the hotel but then Mexico City is just that way especially in the downtown area
The hotel is close to the historic district and only 15-20 minutes from the airport. The Centro Historico (e.g. Zocalo, Templo Mayor, cathedral) is within walking distance. Approximately, 20-30 mins drive (by taxi) to the Roma Norte and Condesa neighborhoods depending on traffic. Metro is also accessible and is a good alternative.
This hotel is an ideal location for holidays and especially if it is your first visit to CDMX with its central location. The WiFi did not work as well but we did not mind this as much as we were on holiday (not a working trip) so this is something to consider if traveling on business and a more reliable internet connection is necessary.
Location was excellent, staff were super helpful and friendly, and our room (Superior Suite) was spacious and had all facilities, breakfast was great. We were able to do a lot in our four days as everything was super easy to walk to.
A thin curtain on the window would be great as an option to use. And a kettle for making tea.

The hotel is immaculate and beautiful. The staff are exceptional, so helpful so friendly. Going out of their way to help you figure out things or set up things such as rides. The only drawback is, although I love the location and it's right in the center-right near everything you can walk to traffic was a little crazy other than that perfection❤️
Just the traffic which, of course has nothing to do with the hotel just the area.
The hotel is very charming and quiet
Although is not in the hip area, I liked being in the historical centre.
I’ve found weird and uncomfortable to be in a room without windows.
Excellent location at walking distance of Bellas Artes, el Zocalo and a couple of metro stations.
Architecture and aesthetics of the place are amazing, great mix of historic and modern. The place feels like an oasis of relaxation and quietness in the middle of the hectic city center. All the staff was super friendly and welcoming.
The included breakfast wasn't great, taste was mid, pancakes were the driest pancakes I have ever had.
Food from the upstairs restaurant is a whole different story, delicious food and the welcoming drinks are amazing.
The Hotel physically was beautiful and architecturally very interesting. Our room which was Junior suite was nice and spacious. The service was great and the staff wonderful. The hotel is very close to the cathedral, about 7 minutes of easy walk. We felt very safe every where we went around the hotel and in the city central area.
We would have given the hotel 5 stars if it wasn’t for the noise issue and the lack of choices for breakfast.
The major issue for this hotel is the acoustics of the structure. In our room, Late at night we could hear music from the area close the restaurant that is on the roof which is part of the second floor. For several nights we had to ask to turn the music down. In the mornings, starting about 6:30 am, we could hear people talking at the front desk. Our room was on the first floor.
Breakfast was included and though it was tasty and well presented there were very few choices. We stayed seven nights so we had to repeat the same dishes for most of the mornings.
We had some mosquitoes issue in the room and got stung several times. We are not sure how they got in as we kept the glass doors closed almost all the time.
Everything, the staff was amazing as well as the food.
The place was clean comfortable. We would go back!
