Pros:

relativ zentrale Lage - ca. 1,3 km von Innenstadt, man kann alles zu Fuß erkunden - Parkplatz am Hotel ohne Aufpreis - Frühstück war für England sehr gut - wurde frisch zubereitet und kam an den Platz (Wahlweise englisch, vegetarisch, ...) + Auswahl am Buffet war ok - Personal sehr freundlich - Abendessen a la carte war sehr gut und hat geschmeckt

Ideal for our short stay, we were there for a night at the theatre
Pros:

The room was lovely and very comfortable, exceptional standard of breakfast, the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Special mention for Josh, what a lovely young man.
Location was lovely and easy to access city centre about 15 minutes walk and on a good bus route too

Cons:

Nothing did not like about our stay

Pros:

Location is excellent and parking is free. Breakfast was really good choices available.

Cons:

Hotel is not air-conditioned so in this exceptional warm spell there are lots of fans running in the corridors.

Otima localização e um bom café da manhã
Pros:

Um ótima localização e um bom café da manhã. A localização para nos que gostamos de caminhar foi muito interessante, iamos a pé para toda parte central e fizemos vários passeios tanto de dia quanto a noite. O onibus que leva ao centro também passa ao lado do hotel

Cons:

Um dupla situação o estacionamento não é barato, mas em Oxford ter no hotel já é uma vantagem. No verão, pra variar, falta ar condicionado

Lindo y cómodo lugar, personal amable,.
Pros:

Bonito edificio, cómodo, buenos lugares para estar, bar, restoran, terraza. Lindo barrio, la distancia al centro es de una buena caminata de al menos 20 minutos, pero hay buses cercanos. Buen desayuno, personal muy amable, preocupados y amistosos.

Cosy setting but comfort around sleep has to be a priority
Pros:

The lounge room was beautiful in its Victorian setting. The bar was cosy

Cons:

It was very hot as there is no air conditioning. Neither did the main window shutters open into the grounds. No air conditioning was a surprise. Ended up with a sleepless night.

Not what I was hoping for frankly

Cons:

Breakfast. I had to really work hard to get what I ordered. No less than 5 visits to my table were required to get the toast and coffee I ordered. Completely unenjoyable experience.

Pros:

Excellent location, with parking which is great for Oxford. Rooms ok (plenty of storage, if needed).
Lovely bar staff and delicious breakfast

Cons:

We stayed in the garden rooms and there wasn’t a proper plug on both sides of the bed (round pin plug for lamp) making overnight charging of phone tricky (it’s 2026 guys!) Once we had checked out, and paid for some extra parking (a good thing) I was told by reception that there wasn’t a disabled toilet for non-residents and I couldn’t return to my room as it was being turned (fair enough)
