Zeer vriendelijk en hulpvaardig personeel, lekker ontbijt, prima ligging en handig dat er een parking is.
De kamers (of toch degene waar wij verbleven) zijn enorm verouderd en wat mij betreft aan een totale make-over toe. Geen airco en nog de ouderwetse sleutels aan een houten plankje. Je waant je in de jaren '70.
Good location, the town centre is 15 min walk which you could cut through the park, lots of parking and very nice and helpful staff.

The room was very hot - no ability to fully open a window to let some air circulate. No air conditioning.

Location is ideal and really quiet for where you are - easy to walk into central Oxford.
The hotel is showing its age - room was tatty in places. Pillows were rock hard but mattress was comfortable and the bed linen was lovely. I had a nice balcony to let the air in.
Room v warm but with fan and window open it was ok (muggy September day and night).
For a 4* hotel the rooms and amenities are not really up to scratch - cheap polyester duvet or plastic glasses in the bathroom, peeling paintwork.

The house is nice, Location is good if you need to be near Brooks University. Staff was friendly. The bed comfortable and the bathroom clean.
Not being able to fall asleep as the walls were so thin that it was allowing the sound of the next door neighbour's snoring to come through. I thought I had booked the room just for myself, but the noise was as loud as if i was sharing the room.. I had to keep the fan in the bathroom running to create some white noise. But the fan of course stopped after a few minutes. All in all, it did not help much. The night was short. Not fun.
I was baffled that a simple cappuccino for breakfast was charged extra. Fresh fruit were sparse, but carbs in heeps.
