Overwhelming impression is how friendly, courteous and helpful all the staff were. Quite unusual to find such outstanding commitment to guest needs.

Very adequate and good value
Pros:

Clean hotel with very reasonable prices in a lovely part of Oxford, very accessible to central Oxford. Reception staff very warm and welcoming.

Cons:

Pillows were as hard as concrete. Coffee served at breakfast tasted like instant.

Comfortable but the hotel was a little tired in places.
Pros:

Location, car parking, clean, friendly staff.

Cons:

Room needs updating, the bathroom in particular. A very old hair dryer fixed to the wall that had more holes in the lead, that no actual hot hair came out where it was supposed to.
Reception area had been updated, but once in the room nothing had been done to improve things.

An outstanding hotel.
Pros:

An outstanding hotel in a good location, a big car park, a comfortable 15min walk to town or hop on a bus which passes by the hotel every few minutes. Lovely room and a wide choice of breakfast. We also tried the a la carte evening menu which was superb. There are lovely old lounges for relaxing in, in a lovely character building.

Cons:

Can't fault it.

Perfect location for my visit to Oxford.
Pros:

The room was comfortable and I slept well.

Cons:

The water from the other bathrooms was audible but I wear earplugs so not a big issue.

Pros:

This is my favourite place to stay in Oxford and have stayed before, both times in a single room which have lovely balconies overlooking a court yard, so you can throw open the door and get some fresh air in plus its very peaceful. 24 hour reception and always been more than helpful. Online parking is great plus its just a short walk into the centre of Oxford. Lovely Cosy bar area plus the whole place is spotlessly clean. Cannot coment on the restaurant as always meet friends out for dinner but the menus always look sophisticated. Basically, what's not to like about this hotel!

Cons:

Nothing
