We chose to return to the hotel, after 3 years, because of its location and its price/value ratio.
Clean, staff is very helpful. Located was great.

It's my 4th stay in this hotel. The rooms are being renovated and improved from 1 stay to another.
This time, I also got upgraded with no extra charge for an amazing suit.
The only problems were that the water in the shower wasn't hot enough. Also, the water stream in the taps were very weak.
Other than that, the service, the air conditioner, the bed, the space, the cleaning and anything else was amazing.

So I arrived early in the morning, way before the check-in time. I was early by at least 4-5 hours. My best bet was that the hotel administration would keep my luggage and that I would while away the time roaming around aimlessly in Dubai Mall. The fact that I hadn’t slept the entire night earlier owing to my flight schedule was also weighing on my mind. It is in this backdrop that I tentatively approached the lady at the reception. Her name was Sandra and I right at the outset told her that I know I’m early but I would just request you guys to entertain my luggage and get me a room at your earliest convenience. I was surprised when Sandara not only gave me a room straight away but she also upgraded it. There was another lady in the lobby who was incredibly cheerful and walked me to the elevators. My luggage was deliveries shortly thereafter. I have never been treated like a royalty at any hotel but the work ethic of these guys is just at another level. Highly recommend this hotel. Whenever I come to Dubai again, I’d stay at Swissôtel Al Murooj Dubai. They didn’t abandon me when I needed them. I’m now their loyal customer for life.

The property location is excellent. It is at a walking distance from the Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa. Less than a 10 minute walk. However, the property itself was a big disappointment. The apartment was huge for three people. There are 2.5 bathrooms. But the carpet was stinking. It looked like the room hadn't been cleaned in 10 years. There were dirty spots on the carpet. I almost got an asthma attack. It is depressing to see a renowned brand like Swissotel maintain their hotel in such shabby conditions in a prime real estate location such as Dubai downtown.
