A hotel with a desperate need of updating.
Pros:

The staff were friendly.

Cons:

Very dated decor which left a feeling of grubbiness . The bed and linen were old and not comfortable. The walls were thin, noise from neighbouring rooms meant that I didn’t sleep very well

The breakfast is amazing and the staff are so friendly and efficient.

Loved being able to use the Health Suite from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm

Cons:

Cold shower in the swimming area, deters people from using it before entering the water.

Great location with friendly staff, but recommend that you have dinner elsewhere.
Pros:

Great breakfast catering for all dietary needs. Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean. Comfortable bar area with big sofas to relax in.

Cons:

Dinner was not good. Some of the dishes were overcooked and from the freezer. Rooms adequate, but water supply in bathrooms needs attention

Pros:

Hotel is a well worn old building but it was clean and perfectly adequate for our 1 night stay

Cons:

breakfast buffet could have been a bit better organized, had to keep asking for restocks on bread, spoons etc

Not the best by far
Pros:

Easy to get too off the motorway

Cons:

A room an all you can drink offer being sold to complete idiots who argued till gone 4 despite many banging on walls and doors. No staff to be seen or found.

We had the best weekend cant wait to go back!
Pros:

Staff was exceptional! Ive never met such helpful happy staff! Food for a 3 star really was great too and very enjoyable (we only had breakfasts not evening meals)
Sauna and steam room super hot how we like it.
Excellent value for money with all the facilities and nearby town. You get what you pay for its excellent for the money!
Will definitely stay here again when in this area!

Cons:

Obviously it is slightly dated (decor) didnt affect our stay we had a fabulous time all 6 adults and 3 children :)
Hot tub could of been hotter but didnt stop us going in nor would it stop us re booking!
