La piscina climatizada tenía el agua fria
Lovely friendly staff who were very helpful with any questions we had. Great selection for food for breakfast, we didn't do evening meals Bottled water every day in your fridge. Great facilities every where was really clean.
Close the bars and restaurants.
The bathroom have a shower in the bath which is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Hotel is up a steep hill which is not easy to climb. It's a good 15 minutes walk into the port and on to city centre.

The staff were absolutely lovely.
It was a little noisy in our room. We could hear other guests walking about very late at night.

The breakfast is not amazing its just ok. The minimum necessary.

The bed in the room itself was okay. Staff at reception were friendly and tried to help with the situation.
Booked "Mountain View" room but the view was an active construction site with jackhammers. Rooftop whirlpool was broken (heating defect). Breakfast was disappointing – mass-produced buffet food, no local products despite being on Madeira, even the coffee and orange juice tasted watered down. Had to check out after one night. Still fighting for refund one month later despite hotel's own receipt confirming they owe €296.
Das Frühstück war hervorragend, jeden Tag anders, Abwechslung, frisch, sehr aufmerksames Personal. Zimmer sehr sauber. Das Steak Sandwich mittags hervorragend. Alle sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.
