The location is superb , near the golf course and overlooking the beach
The central lift to the bedroom floors was out of order but that’s temporary.
I’m not keen on the new lift access to the pool - the stairs which used to be there were much better
Interior in fitting with hotel. Deluxe room spacious beautiful view. No fridge to cool drinks. Shower pressure low.
Vegan meal over priced average and frozen not fresh. Cost £16. A large glass on wine was £16. Overall the restaurant was very disappointing.
The sea views. The lovely big bathroom with sea views. The radio in the room. The complementary biscuits. The spa, especially the hot tub. The friendly staff.
The lift not working.
We liked the location and being close to the beach.
There’s nothing that we didn’t like about the property.
Nice hotel in a good location. My room was great (I was offered a free upgrade with sea view room on arrival). Very comfortable bed. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, particularly the two ladies at reception (one of whom was being trained). The spa was excellent (hotel guests have complimentary use of the pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi). Breakfast was very good with both continental and hot food menu offered with lots of choice.
My evening meal at the hotel was slightly disappointing. Generous portions and attentive service, but felt the quality didn’t quite match the price. It would have been helpful to have basic information in the room about using the complimentary spa facilities specifically for hotel guests (opening times, towels provided etc.), breakfast times, checkout time, WiFi etc. rather than just a QR code as the phone signal from my network was inadequate for data in my particular room. I should add that this information was mostly explained by reception on arrival but I had forgotten some of it later.
Fantastic location looking across the Moray Firth. Lovely spa. Great food and professional welcoming staff.
Nothing.
Views very good also the continental breakfast and cooked breakfast good.
Did not have lager or beer on draft
Great location, rooms are lovely and lots of nice little touches in the rooms. Very clean
The restaurant really lets the hotel down, the food isn’t the quality you would expect for a hotel this nice especially the breakfast.
Location views
Cold mussels first night
Room was good but noise from work
A quiet and relaxing atmosphere to eat with lovely views over the Moray Forth.

We stayed here for just one night and had a lovely time. We arrived early and asked if we could park our car in the car park as we wanted to explore Nairn - this was no problem at all. When we checked in at 3pm the receptionist was just lovely and the whole process went very smoothly - we even got a complementary room upgrade! We went straight down to the pool/spa area which was included in our stay. We had got told that it had been recently upgraded and we were very impressed. Very clean and new looking. We spent a very relaxing afternoon using the various facilities.
We opted to dine at the hotel that evening. The food was so much better than I was expecting after seeing some of the trip advisor reviews. We really enjoyed our meal and the service was great. The room we had was very clean and well cared for. The breakfast options were varied (buffet and you ordered a cooked meal) and very tasty. Every member of staff we met were very friendly and helpful.
Being upgraded for free - that was a lovely surprise when I arrived at the hotel late for just one night.
Nothing too much.
Really good sized room and bathroom
Breakfast choices really good
Staff very friendly
Sea view
Lift was out of order but fortunately not too much of a problem as not much luggage.
Shampoo/body wash etc all difficult to open .
Also Thermal experience locks weren't working so although paid for could be accessed by anyone .
Wonderful Hotel in an amazing location near the shore. A great ambiance with a mixture of traditional and modern. Excellent spa facilities. Great staff and good food.
Just back from a lovey relaxing two night stay with friends. We were here last year and booked straight away to come back this year. A little disappointed on arrival to find out there was a sea swimming event on so the spa area was a little chaotic in the morning and the spa area was very busy. The hot tub was then closed for cleaning around 2pm before we managed to get in, but it reopened later in the afternoon when the place was quieter and we got to enjoy the lovey outdoor experience. Spa therapists were all lovely, helped with all needs and fitted two of us in for treatments even though it was so busy. Some training for staff needed to be more proactive, tried to clear my plate twice before I had finished eating then forgot to bring the desert menu. Breakfast was excellent, personally I would prefer bacon rather than processed ham in the eggs Benedict. The toaster needs adjusting, one pass isn’t enough and two passes burns it. The coffee machine not to our taste. Prefer a fresh pot rather than queuing, but that was available on the menu. Few little issues where butter or orange juice ran out but always quick to resolve when asked. Kian in the breakfast area was very good, extremely helpful, proactive and professional. Lounge had uncleared tables at night that we had to ask bar staff to be cleared. These are small things when on the whole the hotel is very comfortable, spacious well equipped rooms, stunning location, excellent spa facilities, delicious food and breakfast, lovely relaxing lounge area, and we will be booking again for next year.
