Nice historical building. Clean rooms and good breakfast. Wish they had lunch or dinner options at the hotel during our stay but the breakfast was very good. Staff was very helpful and recommended good restaurants and museums to visit. Had a nice time.

Loved my stay! It was a beautiful property with great service.
The hotel ripped us off of $320. We paid with cash for the sizable discount but they still charged our credit card as well. The hotel will not respo d to my requests.

It has a nice quiet traditional vibe.
My room 14, was small but it was cleaned everyday.
AC , ceiling fan and TV all worked. No condiments given except one roll of toilet paper and one towel which is not changed daily.
Breakfast was Traditional American or Traditional Dominican. The Fresh Juice was good. The staff is very nice. They are there to help but not overbearing. Doors are locked at night and must be let in by staff. PLEASE BE PATIENT and Knock Softly. I would recommend for short stays
There were roaches in the bed. No water pressure in the bathroom (shower head).

I like the HOTEL DOÑA ELVIRA 👍The ONLY THING I DONT LIKE IS WENT I BOOKED A ROOM with EXPIDIA GIVING ME ONE $PRICE $ AND I MAKE RESERVATIONS AND WENT I REACH THE HOTEL THE PRICE IS ANOTHER ONE $ IS MORE MONEY - or SAID NO ROOM AVAILABLE. I ALWAYS TAKE PICTURE ABOUT THE PROMOTION. IS MY PROTECTION $$.
The pool need more maintenance
Breakfast is 8 to 10 am not noon. Toilet paper ans towels limited. Late at night door was close for security.
Nice colonial house close to all the main places in the colonial zone. Breakfast was great, especially having it next to the pool. Comfortable rooms with lots of space. Nice staff too

La atención my amables y muy limpio
None of the common areas, including dining and boutique areas were air conditioned, bath not air conditioned. tried to get wash cloths, hand towels and they never appeared. I got a towel run for a hand towel. Never could get anything more than slightly warm water for bathing and showering. The large tub was actually located in an outside environment which you had to go through to get to the bathroom. The large tub was coated with foreign material and had to be washed before use -- which we never did because of not hot water.
The property charged me a surprise fee to have a guest in my room. This fee is per guest. This was not disclosed when I made the reservation, otherwise, I would not have made the reservation.
It is an excellent facility to stay specially because it is placed in the historic old city
