Location was great + check-in clerk (Atul) was congenial. Charming building with free parking and wifi. Nice patio in back.
Old room & not as clean as I would have liked. I cleaned it myself after checking in. Just ok. Serviceable for sleeping, but not pleasurable to spend time in. There were tiny ants in the bathroom. No safe, and no safety latch on the door. Key entry w/ regular key & not key card.
Convenient to venue
Dirty, needs major remodel. Bath tubs are dangerous. Bad smell
Quaint.
Room smelled very Smokey. 😖
Location
Nothing
Nice & clean.
Nothing to comment on.
I really enjoyed the property. It is very well-located, offers a quiet and pleasant atmosphere, and provides excellent value for money. The price is affordable, and I would undoubtedly recommend it.
Despite a notice stating that smoking is prohibited on the property, the room had a strong smell of cigarettes that was quite noticeable throughout the stay. Although the room was clean, the odor significantly compromised the comfort of the space.
Another downside was the air conditioner, which made a lot of noise whenever the compressor kicked in, repeatedly interrupting my sleep during the night.
Great location with parking lot in the downtown of Santa Paula, it is very convenient to go walking to several places of interest like, restaurants, churches, and shopping area.
It is not a clean hotel. Sink, faucet, towels (where supposed to be white, but some were beige) were not in fresh, good condition for a place that charged more than $230 per night. Continental breakfast is extremely simple, and it is ok, but not being enough it is another situation, nobody available to refill things, bread run out while I was there.
Loved our Host Artul who warmly greeted us! Such a wonderful enthusiastic person.
We shared our love for art and writing and he even gave me an autographed copy of his lovely poetry book! We stayed in a room that had his beautiful paintings in it.
The mattress was not my favorite.
Looked nice from the outside
Bed bugs
Nada
Estaba sucio, no había desayuno, conbraron caro y por adelantado, no servía bien el aire acondicionado y todo estaba sucio..
The outdoor area with the plastic succulents on the table.
The huge electrical box next to the window and the loud music playing next door one night when I was there. I was tired and I wanted to relax instead of hearing extremely loud music in my ear from the parking lot next door.
Really nice staff all around. I met the owners and they checked on the place everyday and were very friendly.
Floors were a little dirty with dirt etc. in corners.
Location; in the center of town.
There was no one there... except briefly one do it-all-cleaning lady...then she disappeared. The so called breakfast appeared in the morning...again : no person!
A very strange place...creepy! There was a place to literally drop off the key and that was it!
"Bathroom" was also very strange; shower and toilet in one little room; sink off to the side in a small corner..
The minuscule tv set was on top of a piramid cabinet.
There were five or six sets of windows that faced the streets with sheer curtains, streets lights lit up the room all night.
This is simple, kind of old-fashioned hotel, but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the back patio was flower filled, and the proprietors were nice. Very good value for money. We would be happy to stay there again.
