Cons:

O piso estava em obras, o quarto estava carregado de pó. Na primeira noite a minha filha teve um ataque de asma. Tivemos de mudar de quarto.

Pros:

Die Nähe zur Stadt war super.
Genauso die Lage, um mit dem Leihwagen Ausflüge zu unternehmen.
Super ruhig!
Die Ausstattung im Hotel war gut:
Pool, innen und außen, Fitnessraum, Balkon, Badewanne.
Das Abendessen war vielseitig und die Desserts eine Sünde wert!

Cons:

Der Flur im Hotel wirkt wie in einer Jugendherberge: schmucklos, alte Fliesen, keine Bilder.
Hier könnte man mit wenig Aufwand viel verschönern.
Das Personal an der Rezeption hat einem eher das Gefühl vermittelt, dass man stört, anstatt nett empfangen zu werden.
Das hoch gelobte Frühstücksbuffet war jeden Tag gleich bestückt. Die Wurst/der Speck für deutsche Verhältnisse gewöhnungsbedürftig.
Das live cooking ist ja eine gute Idee.
Leider sehr leidenschaftslos umgesetzt.

Lovely quiet stay 30 minutes’ walk from Funchal
Pros:

Close to the centre of Funchal by foot, around 30 minutes walk. The food was amazing and the staff offered us a bottle of excellent wine as a compensation for a dinner that we missed on account of a delayed plane and arriving late. We loved live music in the bar by the outside swimming pool and a shot of poncha.

Cons:

The spa area and the inside swimming pool was too small to meet the demand of the visitors from the three hotels. Spa cascades didn’t work during the stay (that was Easter week), as well as Turkish baths. I found it disappointing. Hardly possible to relax and swim in tranquility with shrieking kids diving, unwatched by their parents. We never made it to jacuzzi as it was always occupied by families who kept it for themselves, one adult leaving, another 3 keeping watch. At times there were no sun chairs available to leave your towel. We tried to negotiate a couple of times but that was pretty awkward. Perhaps a time reservation would be a possible solution, but the staff shouldn’t leave it as it is. Some adults simply didn’t learn to share.

Madeira para repetir
Pros:

La habitación era muy amplia y el desayuno estaba muy bien. La limpieza era buenísima. De hecho, teníamos loza para lavar y nos la lavaron .

Cons:

Lo único malo es que no había mucho sitio para aparcar fuera . Es zona azul .

Fijn en prima hotel
Pros:

Het is een fijn en prima hotel en ligt op een locatie waar genoeg restaurantjes zijn en supermarkt is. De kamer zelf is vrij standaard ingericht, netjes en schoon.
Personeel is heel vriendelijk en de faciliteiten zijn ook goed. Nieuwe sauna en massage was erg goed.
Vanuit hier heb ik veel gewandeld, dus was heel weinig in het hotel eigenlijk. Zwembad ook fijn om even te liggen.

Cons:

Badkamer en keukentje. Het ziet er iets gedateerd uit. Er missen stopcontacten bij de keuken, de waterkoker kon ik daardoor niet gebruiken. Het snoer was te kort om ergens anders in te stoppen.
Badkamer wordt wel netjes bijgehouden, alleen de schimmel lijkt hardnekkig te zijn.
