Great hotel, would return.
Pros:

Town within walking distance -about 15 mins. Lovely friendly staff. Room clean. Towels changed daily, bed made etc. Breakfast was buffet style which was fine. Great views from our veranda and elsewhere in hotel-of sparkling sea, Sorrento and Vesuvius in the distance. Lush foliage around verandas. There is an upper sun deck with loungers, even better views-fantastic view of the sun setting from there.

Cons:

Only gripe was not enough storage in room-drawers in particular

Pros:

Breakfast was very good with good offerings. Location has beautiful view of the sea. This is a bit of a trade off because you have a bit of hike to get into town and the return hike is all up hill.

Pros:

La vista desde la terraza, pileta y desayunador es increible. Un placer la verdad. Y por otro lado algo muy destacable es que tiene un restaurant super accesible de precio lo cual es muy comodo porque comes con muy buena vista, y sin pagar precios ridiculos en la comodidad del hotel para cuando estas cansado

Great stay at the Miramare
Pros:

Very nice hotel. Enjoyed having the small pool which provided excellent views of the sea. Room was spacious, clean and had a safe which we appreciated. The staff were very pleasant and spoke fluent English and was happy to answer question. We also appreciated having the breakfast offered and we ate it on the outdoor balcony. The walk into town took 20-25 minutes along the side of the road. Walking was preferred due to the high cost of taxi transportation.

La vista mare è soddisfacente, ma la camera al primo piano, è esposta sulla strada principale, rumori ininterrotti notte e giorno al passaggio continuo dei veicoli sulla strada sottostante, sconsigliatissima la stanza su strada, colazione sufficiente, posizione scomoda rispetto al centro di Sorrento, LA PISCINA E' POCO PIU' DI UNA VASCA, RICAVATA IN UNO SPAZIO RISTRETTO,

Sorrento 4 night stay
Pros:

Stunning hotel in beautiful surroundings, we stayed for 4 nights and wish it was longer.

We stayed in a classic double room, really comfortable bed, great air con, spacious bathroom with walk in shower and a really large balcony area with stunning views. The staff do a wonderful job of keeping the rooms and surroundings areas clean.

All staff are really friendly and helpful, the prices at the snack bar are reasonable for drinks and food, we didn’t eat there of an evening so unsure of that menu. The walk into Sorrento takes about 20 mins, yes the road outside is really busy but there is pavement for most of it.

Sorrento itself is stunning and if I return I’d have no hesitation to stay at Hotel Miramare, thank you.

The hotel breakfast was lovely consisting of pastries, cereal, breads, fruit, scrambled egg and bacon. Fresh fruit juice and a coffee machine available.

The hotel had a really chilled feel, the pool was lovely for a cool down dip and again had a great view of the mountains and bay.

The hotel was fine. Basic. Had a beautiful view from room.

Cons:

No bathrobes, no make up mirrors, bad blow dryer, located a 35 min walk down a narrow lane. Scary crossing the street. Then a 35/40 min walk straight up hill. Breakfast was ok. Girl in breakfast area not friendly. Called for wake up calls, never came. 2x. Had mold on my top sheet. Expensive for what it provides. Pool freezing
