Pros:

The breakfasts were exceptional and the rooms were newly remodeled and the bathroom was large and beautiful too. The location was easily accessible from the train station and a very short walk. Lots of restaurants and shops all around.

Excelente lugar para quedarse en Sorrento

El hotel es un edificio que está muy bien cuidado tanto por fuera como por dentro, y sobre un risco por donde pasa un riachuelo. La ubicación es ideal para visitar Sorrento: está a 100m de la plaza donde empieza la zona peatonal, con muchos restaurantes alrededor, en un área con poco ruido externo, y además en un punto donde llegar en coche es facilísimo, sin necesidad de entrar a ninguna zona restringida ZTL. Para nuestra familia que viajábamos en una camioneta grande, no podríamos haber encontrado mejor ubicación para quedarnos en Sorrento, particularmente porque el estacionamiento está en el hotel y pudimos dejar nuestro vehículo sin ninguna complicación. El hotel además está en perfecto estado por dentro con habitaciones muy cómodas, con buen control de temperatura, de buen tamaño, silenciosas y decoradas de muy buen gusto. El baño era de tamaño mediano, con todo lo necesario, y limpieza impecable. El desayuno es tipo buffet, con mucha variedad, de muy buena calidad, y excelente sabor. La gente en recepción, restaurant, bar, y el concierge todos fueron muy amables, nos trataron como si estuviéramos en casa, siempre dispuestos a darnos ayuda y con una sonrisa. Definitivamente, cuando volvamos a Sorrento nos volvemos a quedar en el mismo hotel.

One of my favorite hotels ever
Pros:

It was stunning - I am not certain I could have handled crowds in the high season but as it was - I loved this hotel. It was centrally located and it was gorgeous.

Cons:

Nothing other than our neighbor who woke up to a zoom call at 5:30 am.

Great location. Staff were amazing and their service was a stand out of our trip. Breakfast was great with a variety of options. Pool was awesome especially for the summer heat. Room was comfortable with good facilities.

Cons:

We had a room on a lower floor, so didn’t have a full window making the room a little bit dark.

An Amazing Experience
Pros:

My wife and I decided to use Sorrento as our "base" during a 10-day vacation in Italy, and we did so partly because Sorrento looked absolutely beautiful and partly because the town sits not too far from other sites we wanted to see: Naples, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Paestum, the Amalfi Coast. We chose the Hotel Antiche Mura based on reviews and on photos, as well as on the prices, which seemed reasonable. And we were not disappointed!

The hotel itself is a beautiful structure, full of yellow and white flourishes, immaculately kept, and managed by incredibly polite and helpful staff at the front desk, the bar, and the breakfast room. All speak English.

And the breakfasts are delightful: so many dishes to chose from, including healthy options (as well as some not-so-healthy but deliciously fresh ones, some including locally grown lemons).

Don't miss the section of the old city wall in the hotel garden, and the lemon grove there; and of course you can't miss the gorge (or "Valley of the Mills" as they call it there) over which the hotel is perched--it's an amazing site, and one you won't tire of no matter how many days you stay.

The vibrant Piazza Tasso is only one block away, along with the narrow cobblestoned medieval streets with all their shops and churches. (If you look carefully, you can find many Roman artifacts integrated into later medieval and Renaissance structures here and there within walking distance of the hotel.)

I very highly recommend Hotel Antiche Mura and would very much stay there again.

Hermoso hotel
Pros:

Todo. Muy bien ubicado. Habitación grande, comoda. Silencioso. Muy buen wifi. Muy buen desayuno. El personal muy amable.

Todo bien. Solo un incidente con la liz del baño, pero se resolvio al dia siguiente.
