The location was great, being across the street from the beach. Also, having restaurants within walking distance was a plus.

Cons:

They failed to mention the entire hotel was under construction and we only found out upon arrival. At first it looked like the construction was just the front lobby, however it was all throughout the hotel. Using the elevations was a challenge since not only the guest were using them, but also all of the construction people.

We were given a room that was already occupied, only to find out by walking into the room to see someone's belongings. The second room appeared to have still been under construction as there was construction dust all over the floor and in the bathroom. But, the linens were new, I even had to unbox the hairdryer.

It seemed that their system was not working: showing that the first room was available, when it was occupied and our key did not work the second day. We ran into three other sets of guests that had the same issue with the keys.

Once they can figure out the computer issues and the construction is done, it'll be a nice place to stay.

Great Location - Undergoing Construction - Item Stolen From Our Room
Pros:

The west end location was great. The rooms were comfortable. The balcony had an ocean view. The cost was very reasonable.

Cons:

The hotel was undergoing construction. Floors 1 and 3 were a mess. The lobby had new furniture wrapped in plastic. Floor 2 had partial construction. Parking was impacted by work trucks and supplies. Entrances and exits were sometimes blocked. The back elevator was sometimes closed and it was pitch black in that area. Breakfast was not on site. We had to go next door to Clarion Point Hotel to eat. On 04-12-26 our gallon of tea was stolen from our room. The manager addressed that situation. I spilled water on the floor and cleaned it up. The white towel showed lots of dirt from the floor.

To begin with, they didn't have my reservation, they gave me a room that wasn't the one I had requested on Booking.com, they didn't give me a solution to give me the room I asked for, they gave me one where I was keeping everything full of obstacles in the hallway, the staff doesn't help at all, they didn't provide me service since I stayed 5 days, terrible place, and the worst thing is that nothing in the photos looks like what you get to see in the hotel

Got some sleep, but it pretty much sucked.

Cons:

The room had neither shower curtain nor soap, the refrigerator didn't work, and everything was covered in a layer of dust. The hallways were restricted by construction materials resulting in a fire hazard. Hallway carpets were very dirty. At checkout, the staff never asked if everything was ok.
