I expected more from a Hyatt property.
Pros:

The property was just okay. There was nothing spectacular about it. I guess I expected more from a Hyatt property. The beds were comfortable. The room was clean. The balcony overlooked fast food parking lots and drive-throughs and off in the distance we could see a sliver of the gulf. Although previous reviewers praised the breakfast, I have had similar breakfast selections at other hotels that were not under the Hyatt brand. Based on those other reviews, I was expecting something much better than what was available.

Cons:

The parking lot was tricky to navigate.

Room that was reserved weeks in advance was sold to someone else, had to be down graded to queen beds. Coffee station was not replenished daily.

The front desk associate was rude and dismissive while my family waited nearly two hours in the lobby. We booked this beachfront stay around our check-in time, and the experience started with broken promises and poor courtesy. Management needs to give honest timelines and train staff on basic respect.

Pros:

The hotel was old and smelly! The rooms were small and cabinets were dated! They advertised views of the gulf, but all I saw was a parking lot! I have not been this disappointed in a hotel in years! I would not stay there for free! My room was terrible!
