Perfekte Lage nahe des Strandes.
Geschäfte des täglichen Bedarfs gut und schnell zu erreichen

Cons:

Die Unterkunft gleicht einer Baustelle. Es wird gerade umfangreich renoviert. Durch die Feuchtigkeit waren Türen verzogen und die Kleidung wurde allmählich klamm. Frühstück ist Nebengebäude zur Zeit. Bei der Buchung waren diese Umstände leider nicht ersichtlich

Got there and they were remodeling the lobby it was bad. Told us no breakfast due to their remodel. Wish it would have been noted booking site. Lost our first nights stay went somewhere else.

I loved the size of the patio, the ocean view, the bed lining and mattress feels amazing. The entire property was clean inside and out, well lit. Nice patio furniture. Extra pillow and cover in the closet. Directv cable channels. Great breakfast in the morning. Great customer service and communication from our he staff starting before until the end of my reservation/stay at the property. I loved it! Very nice and helpful staff. We were able to stay an extra hour for check out. Soooo accommodating! Thank you again ladies for those who assisted with our reservation. Yall did a great job!

Cons:

There was some construction going on throughout the property which made things a little difficult trying to navigate throughout the property. Also checking in, I could barely hear the woman who was assisting me because of the drilling…

Sweet and a tad sour.

I love how clean the property was even with construction going on.

Cons:

Everything else would’ve been perfect but the key card given to me was barely working during our stay, even with two copies given, it was a hit and miss which made it stressful with kids. The pool that was in the hotel would’ve been so fun but there were barely any seats and table for everyone. Lastly I wish all the workers were just as friendly as the ones that welcomed us on the beginning of our stay. When it was time to check out, I waited about 5-10 mins for someone to get my card and she looked annoyed like I was bothering her for having to check out.

Multiple charges, constant disruption, ruined experience.

So many things….

1. Multiple charges to my card during my stay. 2 charges for $2.30 in the same day, for what???? 1 charge for $4.60… whyyy? 1 charge for $83 which I was told was a pet fee even though I told about 3 people she is a service animal. They said all of the money will be refunded after I check out, but it’s still rediculous. What if I needed that money during my stay? And what’s the purpose for all of the small charges???

2. They are remodeling or whatever, the place still looks old and outdated. So there’s a lot of loud banging, crew members cursing and ruining the experience. I went to the pool and was disrupted with them emptying boxes and slamming/dragging chairs and tables around the area which echoed like crazy.

3. Due to the remodeling, we’ve had to stop what we were doing (exploring Galveston) to come back to the hotel to either grab our service animal or sit with her while they came into the room to hang up mirrors, pictures, and mess with the fire alarm. Which is super inconvenient and frustrating.

4. The mattresses….. idk about you all, but I do not like beds that are so hard they make my sides fall asleep. I had trouble sleeping the entire stay, and if I tried to squeeze a nap in during the day, it was constantly disrupted due to the “remodeling”

5. DUE TO THE REMODELING AGAIN… guests have to go to the hotel next door for the free breakfast. Which isn’t a huge deal but it’s less convenient, especially if you want to carry it back to your room to wake your spouse up with breakfast in bed.

I’ll be asking for some sort of compensation for all of this when I check out, and will update that whole experience… I’m sure it’s better when there isn’t renovation going on… but that’s not fair to the people who have traveled HOURS to get here. This place should call and let their guests know ahead of time, so that they can decide on if they want all of the time and planning and money spent to be ruined or disrupted.

Surprisingly nice

The location was excellent. Right across the street from the beach

Cons:

The property is under construction which we didn’t know. Our room was awesome, very clean . The back elevator was being used by the contractor crew. The construction didn’t really bother us except it did limit the rooms available. We weren’t able to check in until 6 pm which wasn’t really great. The hotel made arrangements with the hotel next door for breakfast which was great.
There was one of the staff ( maybe the manager) frequently checking in with people to see if she could help. She was very nice. The girl checking us in was having a bad day but everyone else was great.
The place is going to be a must stay when they are done.
