Great, would come back!
Pros:

Comfortable and à nice distance from the beach. Staff were great and I loved the breakfast variety.

Cons:

Internet barely worked, and was very weak when it connected.

Lovely hotel, great location
Pros:

Close to beach, shops and rail. Our room was serviced after only 1 night. 2 big beds, nice view. Lovely soaps, cream and shampoo etc supplied. Tea, coffee and milks.

Cons:

Shower rose not great. Bed dipped in the middle, kettle tiny but ok. Very noisy with a big conference on, loud music and noisy guests.

I enjoyed my stay other than the two negative points written above

I liked everything about it except the two negatives written below

Cons:

At reception, I was told I would enjoy the city views with some beach views; in fact, the city views were not as good as the reception said. The view consisted of two large car parks below, with a construction site dominating the view. For my first stay I would have thought they would have impressed me with a better view
I didn't like the heater, which only went to 27 degrees. I suffer from nerve damage in my feet. I had woken a couple of times through the night to having to dip my feet in hot water to ease the pain. If I had increased the room temperature, I would not have had trouble with pain in my feet.
There were no complimentary buscuits like other hotels I have stayed
