Price and location
We have been staying at Hampton Inn's for years and NEVER had a bad experience. We we received an email renovations were being done. So we will give a pass on carpets and floors being in terrible shape. Biggest issue is one of the beds in our room had disgusting stains in the middle of the fitted sheet. I showed a piture to front desk and they gladly moved the room. The 2nd room was OK. Pillows were completely flat. Floors pretty nasty.. I can gladly provide a picture.

Breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent communication to make sure things were good throughout our stay.
A better vending/snack option would be nice. Other Hampton Inns have a large wall of available snacks and drinks which is nice.
Access to HWY
It was filthy! I was rented a DIRTY room, including a crusty dusty old towel, broken curtains, broken phone. The bathroom light didn’t work and some makeup and clothing lint was left on the pillows and in the sheets After they “cleaned” for the second time the staff was so petty they tilted all the lamps and then we found new footprints and an earring 🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
Cleanliness aside, the shower is only ever warm. NEVER HOT. All outdated TVs and lots of broken furniture. DOES NOT LIVE UP TO THE HAMPTON NAME. I provided pictures, I contacted the staff multiple times. Was told MGR doesn’t work weekends. Try Monday. This was a nightmare.
Death is hard enough. This hotel turned an already difficult time into a complete nightmare. I’ll be lucky if I didn’t come home with bugs!
