Excellent location, clean room,
We went in July and it was fire season,,,ashes falling and smell of fire...
But we only stayed for 1 day...

Helemaal niets, we hadden geboekt een kamer met een full equipent keuken en kregen een " hok" met 2 bedden waar de vlekken in zatten 🤢. Ook stonk het enorm , terug gegaan naar de receptie om aan te geven dat we dit niet hadden geboekt, maar kreeg als antwoord dat Booking mooie plaatjes op de website had gezet en dat dit niet klopte , ook was er geen andere kamer beschikbaar. Tja daar sta je dan, wie is nu in gebrekke gebleven ? Wij zeld denken het hotel en niet booking omdat we al jaren via Booking boeken en nooit geen problemen hebben gehad. Ik kreeg een lucht verfrisser mee voor de stank. We zijn gebleven maar hebben met onze kleren aan geslapen en zijn de volgende ochtend heel vroeg vertrokken

easy to find, short drive from basscoast festival, clean, comfortable
the windows didnt open. There is an ac/air unit for the rooms and most hotels or motels do not have windows that open. But my very minor claustrophobia plus ive never liked AC i would love to have an open window. the day of our stay we understood that check in wasnt until late afternoon, and we didnt ask for early check in ahead of time because we booked for the night of the monday but on the sunday or monday i contacted and asked to change to the tuesday last minute because we had late plans to arrive a day later. they switch our room to the tuesday with no extra charge and no complains which was sooo appreciated. the only issue at all was the interaction with the staff member tuesday morning. we arrive very early and nobody was in the office for about a 15 min wait and then when they finally greated me they were very irritated and rude. We asked if we could check in early at all and they rudely replied that check in isnt until after (3?) ish pm and that they were sold out the night before, scoffed at us and walked Way. we completly understand that since we were at the festival and merrit is never as busy as it is after basscoast. but we were extremely tired after working at a festival for 5 days, hoping for an early check in but only expecting the staff to tell us no and maybe be willing to call us when the first available room was ready
