Pros:

Staff were lovely, proactive and professional. Thanks to events team for a great job.

Cons:

This is a beautiful property that has been allowed to become shabby, grubby, uninvested it and is shameful. Whoever the leadership team are who take the money without investing in the infrastructure and potential should be ashamed. It claims to be a 4-star - nowhere close. This is an example of neglect, and lack of investment.

Convenient for visiting nearby family
Pros:

The setting of the hotel is brilliant and local to family hence we book here. Bed was comfy.

Cons:

The interior is tired and I upgraded our room but shouldn't have bothered. No coffee machine in the room but upgraded said there was. We had to run the water in the sink for ages to get some hot water. Very limited on tea/coffee.
Last year we stayed and really enjoyed the breakfast buffet but with the main breakfast cooked to order so disappointed that hot foot was self service.
