Good start in Wellington!
Pros:

The room was renovated, so everything were good. Toilet was clean too! Love that it is in the city and everything is walking distance. Value for money too!

Cons:

The coridor of the quite old but it's fine for as long as the room is comfortable.

Pros:

Room was very clean. Reception staff were lovely.

Cons:

Due to being very short staffed there was a check in delay of over an hour. This was not good enough and no warning before arrival was given.

Pros:

The staff were absolutely lovely. Couldn't do enough for you. It was so nice to actually talk to someone when checking in.

Cons:

Could definately do with some block out curtains on the windows. The lights from the car park came
straight in the window

Would absolutely recommend this hotel for convenience, comfort and support.
Pros:

The bed was supercomfy and warm enough. The lighting was good, the iron/board & hairdryer were good. The room was set up well with space to flip open cases on both sides. It felt restful and not cramped. The wardrobe had lots of hangers and the doors were mirrorised which really helped when one of us was in the bathroom. The shower & bathroom were good with nice towels. And the staff - honestly fantastic helpful staff. Every one of them made us feel welcome and comfortable and they minded our bags when we went to lunch. BIIIG props to the staff.

Cons:

There were no TISSUE BOXES (only toilet paper) and only ONE set of pillows, which seemed a little odd. Our next venue also had no tissues (so maybe that's the norm in NZ? but not in Australia) but lots and lots of pillows. Tissues are needful for makeup and snot and tears and boob sweat and wrapping up teeny cakes of damp soap.

Cons:

Unfortunately the key didn't work when we arrived and the wonderful man on front desk couldn't fix it. We had to wait until the morning staff came in. The shower head was broken.

Pros:

The staff are amazing- friendly and really helpful. The breakfast was great and again, lovely staff. It was a really relaxing stay with short walks to Lampton, Cuba st and the waterfront.

Cons:

The room is a tad tired, ready for a makeover with tape on corners of furniture etc... but this is considered in a very affordable price for central Wellington.
