It was my 60th birthday and I didn’t no but my daughter had called ahead and when I got to the front desk I was greeted

Cons:

The hotel location is NOT in downtown Knoxville as listed. To get to the city you have to take the highway. It is not far but the information is not right. And we like to stay close to everything so we can walk around and get to know the city.

The room wasn’t very clean, you could tell the floors hadn’t been vacuumed. Several lights didn’t work, neither did the fridge.

Ant problem
Pros:

They let us check in before 3.

Cons:

Got to room changed and left.
Didn’t notice till next morning ants crawling all over the walls.
Literally disgusting.
Ants got on my clothes which you don’t expect in a hotel.
Of course, now you are traveling with the ants that got on suitcase.
I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.

Pros:

Room had a very strong musky odor.
Breakfast selection was average. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff. Not the best area of town, but an OK spot to stop and get rest before hitting the road again.
