Nothing - They had double booked me and no room at the Inn
The whole trip was a disaster. I booked for an Awards event i was staying at. There was no room at the hotle they put me in a local hotel - The Staverton - which was nice, however, it meant I had to change for a black tie event in the swimming pool changing room, and I couldn't do my hair. The hotel did organise a taxi to and from but wasted over an hour of my time both days. However, I couldn't phone to sort out with Booking.com as there was no mobile reception at the Staverton. The staff at the Staverton were not very friendly due to being imposed and tried to charge me more than what was agreed, and was still overpriced
The staff in the restaurant were excellent. They were very helpful. Checking in was very easy.
The restaurant was very clean. The food was not particularly hot. The bread was so thin when toasted it was like cardboard. I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't have minded but I like my toast thick sliced.

The location was beautiful, surrounded by beautiful countryside.
The beds were awful. They were super firm and you could feel the springs very difficult to sleep.
The locations was great
The mattress was uncomfortable and you could hear every noise. There were parties in the hotel both nights we stayed and we could hear all the music and people going up and down the hall.
