Due to external road works in the area, there has been a disruption to the gas supply. For safety reasons, we are not permitted to restore or operate the gas system at this time.
As a result, we are currently unable to provide hot water in the hotel until further notice. Unfortunately, this also means we are not able to accommodate guest stays during this period, as we are unable to meet the required comfort and service standards. untill 22nd AprilGuests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.
A deposit may be required at the property.

All Good been staying there 35 years , need to fix you breakfast cold - over charge - no value at 45 £ per two people … no English breakfast use to be good … poor now … fix it ..
De geweldige locatie, ideaal als je snel in het centrum wil zijn. Prachtige lobby en heel vriendelijk personeel.
Vrij kleine kamer die wel toe is aan wat modernisering als je kijkt naar de prijs.
Location was good No facilities available because the hotel was being renovated.This was mentioned apparently but in very small print
No resteraunt no breakfast and no bar .No reduction in price although surrounded by ladders and workmen

Questo è il mio quinto soggiorno al Lancaster Gate Hotel e, ancora una volta, non sono rimasta delusa. Ho trascorso 4 giorni a Londra e ho ritrovato tutto ciò che mi fa scegliere sempre questo hotel: camere pulite e curate, personale gentile e disponibile, e una colazione davvero abbondante e squisita, perfetta per iniziare bene la giornata.
L'unica piccola pecca è che il personale parla solo inglese, senza possibilità di comunicare in italiano: per chi non è a proprio agio con la lingua potrebbe essere un piccolo ostacolo, anche se nel complesso non compromette affatto l'esperienza.
Consiglio vivamente questo hotel a chi cerca qualità, pulizia e un ottimo rapporto con il personale. Io ci tornerò sicuramente ancora!

Good location. Nice friendly & helpful staff.
This was our second visit. We had enjoyed our accommodation last year so rebooked for this year. However our room was very disappointing. Room was small, pokey and felt very dated. Carpets not very clean. Bath needs redoing. Windows wouldn’t close and wood rotten.
As work was being done in lounge bar area which I understood and accepted, there was no provision for a toilet whilst we waited for a taxi which was awkward.

Staff were friendly
No hand soap in bathroom. Very dated. Safe did not work. Only 1 pillow each.
Very disappointing experience. Staff took photos inside our room that included our personal belongings without our knowledge or consent, and the entire situation was handled unprofessionally. I would not recommend staying here.
Excellent location for what was required for my trip
The tiles on the bathroom floor were broken and lose, the MDF bath panel was waterlogged.
