Lanzerac is a gem & worth a unique experience
Pros:

Everything was great! An ideal and remote setting to rest-up after 12-days in western Cape Town and on game drives in NE section of S. Africa. Hope to return!

Wonderful!
Pros:

A beautiful, unique hotel surrounded by vineyards. The food in both restaurants was excellent and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time.

Cons:

We would have liked more details about the wines when we had the wine tasting.

Wonderful place
Pros:

The entire experience was just fantastic. The property and the grounds are beautiful. The staff was extremely nice and attentive. We had our car valley parked, they provided a free coach to Stellenbosch, our luggage was taken up to the room once it was ready, the spa was great - we had drinks and food there and both were lovely. the room was bigger than expected, the bathroom top notch by size and cleanliness too. Great breakfast too. Did a testing and cellar tour, all was great. This was an experience worth while.

Cons:

I must say we booked a dinner at one of the restaurants and while some of the food was great (we had pasta with seafood and oysters - that was great), but then some other things like the ribs were a bit average - upon reflection maybe I should NOT have had the ribs - it was ok, but once you are in a place which is exceptional on every other level you kind of expect all of it to be above average. Guess my advice here is - order something you cannot order elsewhere.

Mooi landgoed, maar prijs kwaliteit verhouding wat zoek

Mooi landgoed en goed ontbijt. Ook het diner bij het taphuis was de moeite waard!

Cons:

Onze kamer was gehorig en het buitenmeubilair op het terras leek bij elkaar geraapt. Twee verschillende metalen stoelen zonder kussens erin. Dit was bij de andere kamers voor zover wij konden zien niet het geval. De reactie bij het uit checken de dag erna, was onverschillig. Voor de prijs die je betaalt, hadden wij beter verwacht.

Heruntergekommenes Hotel, es mangelt hier an Charme und Hygiene.
Pros:

Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter und renovierte saubere Bäder.

Cons:

Schmuddelig altes Hotel das in die Jahre gekommen ist. An Tag 2 bekamen wir über Nacht Bettwanzen die medizinisch behandelt werden mussten. Wir haben uns sehr unwohl gefühlt. Würde ich nicht mehr buchen.
