The service and ambience of the hotel was fantastic and the staff went out of their way to make our 50th anniversary very special. Room was perfect and offered everything that we might have desired or needed
Breakfasts were incredible, but sadly dinner in the Manor Kitchen was not good. The salmon was overcooked and dry and the wildebeest was tough. Very disappointing. Service throughout the hotel is excellent. We only had issues with housekeeping that forgot to replace the dirty crockery with clean and fill the coffee machine. They also somehow misplaced the rubber on the bath plug so we couldn't bath on the Saturday night. Otherwise, it was really wonderful. The room was beautiful with absolutely everything you need and incredible bedding. Super comfortable and luxurious. Service is excellent.
Great hotel and vineyard! The rooms were beautiful, clean, warm, comfortable, and very welcoming. All the staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to take care of all our needs. The food was absolutely delicious.
I stayed there for my birthday, and it exceeded all my expectations. I would give it 10 out of 5 stars! ✨

One of the top hotel stays we’ve had anywhere in the world! Gorgeous property, spacious beautiful rooms, warm & caring staff. We hated to leave after three nights.
Lanzarac resort is a gorgeous property with so many wonderful amenities to explore! Be sure to enjoy a sommalier led wine tasting experience and their spa during your stay. I wish we could have stayed longer but I'll definitely be back.
Couldn’t recommend the Lanzerac more. The hotel is set in an incredible location and has everything you could ask for from wine tasting, multiple restaurant options and an amazing spa. We’ve stayed in both a suite and junior suite and both were amazing. The standout for us though was the hotel team. Every member of staff made us feel incredibly welcome and it made our stay extra special.

Surroundings were peaceful and very pretty. Breakfast choices were plenty and very good.
Beautiful area and buildings
The room was supposed to have a view. It had none. The blinds in the room didn’t work properly and the blockout blinds are hanging too far from wall. Bright lights outside room were bothersome. Bed very uncomfortable. Tv very small and not usable from bed. Picture quality of tv very bad. Had to shift the bath myself because the tap ran onto the edge of the bath and not into it.
If you are looking for that something extra, with luxurious finishings, beautifully chosen furniture and extreme comfort, Lanzerac Hotel & Spa will not disappoint. Our stay was very enjoyable and an absolute treat! I little slice of heaven to soften the harsh reality of the world. The service is top class!
Lanzerac is simply stunning. I was recommended it by a friend and so pleased we booked. From the moment you arrive, everything about this place feels effortless.
The vibes are absolutely immaculate. There’s a timeless, unhurried elegance to the whole estate that’s hard to put into words but impossible to miss. The rooms are gorgeous — beautifully appointed and the sort of space you genuinely don’t want to leave.
The food is excellent, the wine even more so (as you’d hope from one of the Cape Winelands’ most iconic estates). Whether you’re sitting on the terrace with a glass in hand or settling in for a proper dinner, every moment feels considered and indulgent.
But the real standout was the service — warm, attentive, and genuinely world-class. Linford in particular deserves a special mention. He went above and beyond to make our stay feel personal and memorable, and it’s exactly that kind of care that elevates a great hotel into an unforgettable one.
If you’re heading to Stellenbosch, don’t think twice. Lanzerac sets the bar.
