Walkable to R do Cunha, an area with lots of local foods and shops. Close to Taipa ferry terminal, and hotel has a shuttle service to Grand Emperor casino.
I choose to stay in this hotel because of the price & location only.
Overall price is attractive enough, but please do not choose this hotel because overall experience isn't attractive.
Room is a bit dime & small as compare with their competitors in current situations.
If you are going to pay few hundreds for a night, I have tons of selections online at that time.
Overall cleanliness have a room of improvement.
Location
In the center of Taipa, not too far away from Taipa old town and residential area where you can find hundreds of restaurants, and supermarkets too.
From the airport, take AP1 and get off from the bus stop across the street from the hotel, 10 mins.
From the city center, take 50, 50B, and get off in front of the hotel.
To Cotai, walk for 30 mins but not recommended during the summer, take bus and it's a 5mins ride.
Walk for 5 mins and take the elevator up to a small hill called Tai Tam Hill and there is a park good for jogging.
Room
Majority of the rooms are called Deluxe but ask for room on the higher floor because they are recently renovated with more lighting and bedside power outlets.
TV with limited channels and all channels are in analog mode so picture quality is not good
Water pressure is weak
Wifi is free but slow, making streaming difficult and they blocked some websites (po_nhub...)
Wifi is very fast in the restaurant on the 3rd floor
Restaurant
Only one restaurant on the 3rd floor with limited choice, tastes is ok though but with hundreds of restaurants nearby it is ok.
Laundry
Washers and dryers on the 3rd floor, free to use
Swimming pool
Also on 3rd floor, not very big, but clean and well maintained
Inn Hotel (formerly Best Western) is one of the only accommodation choices for those who want to stay near Taipa Village. This 17 storey-property is located on the east side of a small roundabout at Estrada Governador Nobre Carvalho, around 8-10 minute walk to the village sightseeing and dining area.
Note that there are important bus routes that stop just outside the hotel linking this property to convenient locations on the Macau Peninsula, Cotai Strip and all the way down to Coloane Village and Hac Sa Beach.
My reservation was made by way of booking.com during a recent midweek stay. Confirmation was received immediately following booking and payment was processed shortly afterwards. I was unable to check-in early but they have luggage storage available. Eventual check-in was quick and I was in my room within 5-6 minutes. They do require a the minimum MOP500 deposit to be made as part of your stay.
Hotel lobby is more spacious than most properties within Macau. Staff checked temperature of everyone entering the hotel. There is a small lobby bar but it was closed down due to Coronavirus prevention measures. You'll find a small outdoor pool on the third floor, it was closed for season. Lastly, they have a small laundry room next to the pool entrance with a couple of coin-operated washing machines and dryer.
My stay came with free breakfast from their properties third floor restaurant. This was a pre-set (2 Chinese and 1 Western) meal. I choose the western breakfast and found it to be rather meh - not really worth the tummy space, given the amount of quality dining you will find in the village nearby. I skipped the breakfast on the second morning in favour of simply eating proper food elsewhere.
As for my room, I reserved one of the renovated Executive Double Rooms and found it to be modern, comfortable and rather nice. Decor was simple, matched the grey walls well. Room included bed with medium soft mattress, allowed for pretty good rest, a desk with chair, sufficient space for luggage, safe, fridge, kettle, Flat screen TV embedded into the wall, working A/C, wifi and good lighting.
The bathroom was spacious, included toiletries, hair-dryer and good shower. Room service did a nice job taking care of my room and replenishing water. View from my room of the Taipa hillside and hiking area was good.
In the end, I didn't care for the breakfast but I liked my room at Inn Hotel in Taipa. The location is rather near to Taipa, making this hotel a good option for those who want a nice enough room, as close as possible to the village while avoiding the high prices of the properties along the Cotai Strip. If this is you, Inn Hotel is worth considering for your visit to Macau.
Good location, away from the casino buzz (20 minutes easy walk).
Nice view from the top floor rooms (though windows needed some cleaning on the outside).
Good breakfast, though it was typical chinese, lacking some western favourites such as juice, cereals and yogurt.
The room is nice and tidy with adequate appliances.
The location is good, you may reach Rua do Cunha by about 7 to 10-min walk. You may find various shops selling domestic snacks and restaurants there.
Comparing with other large scale resort (e.g. The Galaxy, The Studio City and The Parisians), this hotel only offers shuttle bus to Grand Emperor Hotel in the Macau downtown. It will take more time and cost in planning your journey.
In general, the hotel is good and at reasonable pricing, I will certainly recommend this to my friends.
We did not indicate the room type in our booking but the staff was helpful to find an non-smoking room for us.
The room looked a bit old but overall it was acceptable. View outside room was not very impressive so I didn’t take any photo on it lol. Location was not bad too - many nice food nearby.
First off, the hotel lobby makes it look like the hotel is new. But inside the rooms, its not. Most especially the bathroom. Even though the room is big and spacious, Amenities are dated. What irked me even more is that they did not state that you need to deposit 500 MOP upon checkin. We were surprised by this as they did not inform us ahead of time. So did the next guests who checked in after us!!!! Im not sure if this is common in Macau, but at least have the decency to include it in the fine print! We had a hard time looking for a money changer afterwards as it was already night time and you can only withdraw HKD in ATM's in the big hotels (venetian)!!!! we had to go to the otherside of town and was able to withdraw MOP at Sands Macau. Also, they helped us hail a taxi but forgot to tell the driver where we were headed which why we asked their help in the first place!!!
You get a big room which can sleep 3 people for around 650 MOP. Clean hotel, big room, friendly staff, convenient location you get everything you expect here in Macau in and around this hotel. Take ap1 ap1x bus to Macau island and the gongbei bother. The bus station is just few steps cross over the street.
Average budget hotel in Macau. Double bedroom was large and clean. However, the shower amenities were a bit old. Wifi connection was not stable. The hotel provide free shuttle bus to the ferry pier and Macau Peninsula.
Room was nice sized with modern touch
Great hotel for the price.
I stayed here last night as i had an event nearby. I wanted a clean place, reasonable price, hot shower, comfortable bed and close to some shops.
That's exactly what i got from this hotel.
Staff was professional, place was clean, and bed was comfortable.
From the Macau ferry terminal it cost me $63, on the way back to the terminal it cost me $54.
I'm likely back in Macau in a few weeks and i will likely stay here again, i may add a day in to sightsee.
This is not a 5 star hotel, but a very solid 4.
No issue staying here again, and i would recommend.
We were looking for a small hotel that was clean, relatively quiet, away from the casinos and walking distance to Old Taipa, and Inn Hotel Macau checked all those boxes. Rooms were as pictured. Staff were very nice. Breakfast was Chinese but not a problem for us. I would consider staying there again.
I had one great night in Macau.
Very nice hotel, clean, new, well maintained, good service, spacious and comfortable.
This hotel is an above average 3 star hotel. The staff are well trained and friendly. The rooms are big and comfortable.
My only minor complaints would be there is no fruits at breakfast, and the shuttle bus to the airport is infrequent
My impression told me that after we stayed once a year in this hotel, everything is good to us but only noice sometimes people made when back from outside, talking too loud in the hall way waking me up in the middle of the sleep( one or two o'clock in the morning.
Reputation for massage even if you're checked in on the hotel, every taxi I've been knew the property for massage
Staff very helpful and responsive. Free upgrade to spacious suite. Love the bathtub. One improvement for the breakfast option is to have some fresh fruit!
