Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu

I’v just stayed in the Le Meridien in Kota Kinabalu for 4 weeks and wow, what a hotel. Perfect location with multiple food and drink options within a few minutes walk. The hotel is clean, modern and the rooms are lovely. The staff are always smiling and ready to help. The Club lounge on the 14th floor is brilliant, breakfast is available in the Club lounge which has slightly less choice than the main breakfast on the ground floor but it’s still sufficient. The Club lounge has the usual Marriott evening cocktail and food service from 5.30-7.30pm with plenty of choice and tasty food.
If you’re going to Kota Kinabalu then this is the perfect place to stay.

The meeting room was comfortable and well prepared, and the food and coffee breaks were really good. The service from the team was smooth and very helpful throughout the programme.

Stayed for 2days 1night at Le Meridien hotel in KK, we even booked a club lounge for a dinner with my wife & my 1years old baby girl for a birthday surprise. We're so warm welcomed by this waiter named IKHWAN, and he showed us our booked, he also gave us a piece of BEAUTIFULL SMALL CAKE surprise greetings birthday for my baby girl she likes it so much. I hope he can read this, and overall his service is so on point he is so Kindness towards us. Such A VERY GOOD WAITER. We have a really great feeling. Sending warm regards and wishing to be ever come back there again for a second time. TQ IKHWAN X) 10STARS for your services.

Great location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. Lovely pool area. Lounge upgrade fantastic. Great views of the harbour and sunsets. Would highly recommend sea view with lounge access. Big shout out to Dean, Christiana and Regina.

We had an outstanding 4 days in Le Meridian in KK. The level of service was exceptional especially in the club lounge. Huge thanks to Dean, Regina and Christiana who couldn’t have been more helpful, we enjoyed our daily chats with them. The sea views from the Club room and our bedroom on the 10th floor were fabulous so would recommend a seaview room eventhough more expensive. Really liked breakfast and evening drinks in the Club lounge too. Great location too. Special thanks to Rocky at the concierge desk, he helped us book trips and was always available with helpful tips. This is the place to stay in KK for sure.

Lovely hotel in the centre of town with great views of the ocean , boats from the room and the club lounge. The staff were amazing and always made you feel welcome and nothing was a problem for them, like to thank Laurian John, Brain and Dean Cassidy from the Club lounge and Ivy . Amazing group of people. Also like to thank Suresh Ramasamy (GM of Le Meridian, Kota Kinabalu) who took the time to meet the guest share tips to enhance our holiday... We had a lovely 7 day stay at le Meriden and will be back with family and friends.

We arrived late, 1:30am, very tired from a long flight. The young lady in front desk greeted us with a big smile. A kind smile that I am grateful for because she received us with such an understanding for our journey to get here. Heidi Annabelle was her name. I have been to many Marriott brand of hospitalities, thousands of night stays over the years, and she stands out as one of the best services I have received. She explained all the routines of hotel amenities and guided us with hotel surroundings (e.g. where to go for hikes, beaches, shops, seafoods, and including the Sunday Chinese market), and she gracefully handed us the room keys with upgrades to the ocean-view rooms. The two adjoining rooms were very spacious.
The next day we got up early for breakfast and went to the Marriott Lounge where we ate with the best costal view of the Kota Kinabalu. The staff who catered/served food and brought us the coffee gave us the comfort of being on vacation - a true vacation. Thank you Le-Meridian.

The hotel was strategically located in the city center, close to the waterfront, making it convenient for exploring. Got fantastic Sea-view room with spectacular views of the ocean and sunset. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Friendly staff and very helpful throughout our stay.

Five star service, location and rooms. The rooms are spacious, the property overlooks the waterfront and is very near the night market.

The buffet breakfast and dinner options at the secret recipe were many and the food tasty.

The exec lounge offers fantastic views of the waterfront and aircraft landing in KK airport.

But what marks the property are the people led by their General Manager Suresh Ramasamy, Brian, Regina and Rocky among others. Their smiles are genuine, the desire to please is earnest and they personify the Sabahan and Malaysian hospitality.

I could write a long review but let me just say that people make any hotel and in that, Le Meridien is the best.

The tours suggested helped us experience KK to the max.

Had a very pleasant stay. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well maintained. Staff were polite, helpful, and always ready to assist. Location is convenient and easily accessible. Overall, great value for money and a comfortable experience. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Le Méridien Kota Kinabalu is in a strategic location, directly opposite the main seafood market and easy to reach by ride-hailing apps. The hotel was very crowded during the Christmas period, but the front desk handled check-ins efficiently and professionally.

The club lounge was well prepared and comfortable, and the Wi-Fi speed was excellent. There is no blackout curtain, so the room becomes quite bright in the early morning. Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient stay.
