On the ocean, in a nice area
Elevator different dirty and slow. Big roach in hallway outside room. Room clean but very dated. Door to balcony hard to open and close. Not a bad place, just dated.

The room was filthy. My 2 year old was shocked by an outlet that was falling out of the wall. The A/C was leaking inside the room. And we had ants all over our bed and wall. They had no rooms to move us to.
This is the 2nd time we have stayed here, and both times were wonderful. The staff is friendly and very helpful, the rooms are clean and beds are comfortable, they have a slightly larger refrigerator with an actual separate freezer, and the location is excellent. I especially like the fact that they allow for more than one vehicle, which is a HUGE plus since we always have 2 cars and from 2 different states. Close to what we need, yet quiet enough to be very relaxing. We never have felt crowded here, no matter what day of the week it is. For a place right on the beach, I feel the price is very reasonable compared to other spots, and the walk to the beach is short and easy. I have recommended the Islander Inn to others, and will continue to do so.
Honestly, I can't think of anything I didn't like.
First & foremost, my family and I have always felt safe here. Always friendly and helpful with whatever you need ! We have been going here for many years and never look elsewhere, it has become a family tradition for us to go to Ocean Isle and stay at The Islander Inn every year ! We love it here !

My aunt has trouble walking and they accommodated ALL of her needs we were put in a room directly across the elevator for her so very short distance walks and was able to go to the pool which she usually can’t do we were so pleased.
Which there was a walk in shower for handicapped people and the beds aren’t really comfy but over a great stay

Pools beach front access friendly staff safe clean couldnt have gotten better.
The location is great, its ocean front, has plenty of free parking, laundry room amenities, close to restaurants and shopping and friendly staff.
The TV in the room was very small, there was a dirty spot on the edge of bottom sheet.
Other than a microwave there's no way to cook anything so you must plan meals accordingly.
Overall it was a good experience and I would book this again however I would definitely get a balcony room next time.
