Beautiful lake and Decor
Pushed down trees on the property, the staff was not approachable at all, very rude. The breakfast was awful and the milk was soured. There was rust in the vents and mold on the door of our patio door.
Facility was beautiful. Tucked away up on a hill that looks out over the beautiful lake with gorgeous stately dogwoods & azaleas throughout the property!
Good location clean
The bed wasn't the best
Convenient to fairgrounds, good staff, and clean
Limited hot breakfast items and only on weekends. Get some gravy for biscuits.. add potatoes.. better seating area.. very tight.
The staff was nice and accommodating. It was convenient to the fairgrounds.
Shower curtain rod was loose and the bathroom could use more lighting and an exhaust fan
Breakfast was great. Great solution of warm and cold items. Coffee was very good. Room was great. Bed was very comfortable and the AC worked well. We were on the bottom so the view was great, but you could walk out the back and see the lake easily.
Honestly, there was not anything to dislike. The front lobby staff were outstanding. Very helpful with food hints, and places to hike. They seem to like their jobs a lot. Very rare indeed in my experience!
Beautiful location with views of the lake. Love the lobby and outdoor area.
A little outdated but clean.
Friendly staff, clean rooms and excellent location. Within walking distance to the GA Mountain Fair.
Nothing negative to say.
Beautiful location overlooking the lake. Great common room off the lobby with an fireplace that overlooked the lake. We had a room on the other side that had nice mountain views and a.little porch area. BBQ joint next door. Breakfast was adequate, no hot food like eggs/sausage but had pastries, little bagels, fruit, cereals. I don't eat sugar or white carbs but found plain instant oatmeal and cheerios. Staff were all helpful and cheerful. Rooms had a nice little 1 cup drip coffee maker with Several packets of caf and drcaf coffee (preferred that to the instant coffee dispenser in the dining room).
In our room there weren't many outlets available for electronics or night lights - they were all behind furniture with a lamp or clock in one of the plugs. I did find a.power strip behind the dresser that had a few free plugs but I jad to hunt for it. My other little peeve was that they generated a lot of plastic waste. Silverware were plastic knife,.fork, spoon, salt and napkin in a plastic wrap,.even if you just needed one piece. All food items wrapped in plastic. All cups in room and dining room individually wrapped in plastic. Disposable plastic cassettes for each serving in the in room coffee makers.
