The room was nice and clean. The stuff were the best, very nice also very patient, love them.

Fantastic views and very comfortable
Pros:

Views from the front rooms are fantastic. The breakfast is delicious and the waiters and all the staff are friendly, attentive without being over the top. It's in a great location, just a short walk into town but quiet in the evenings.

Comfortable but not fantastic!
Pros:

Good location and very clean. Enjoyed the rooftop bar and pool side area.

Cons:

Front desk staff were not overly friendly. Room and bathroom was dated. Room doors were very noisy. Impossible to close them quietly. Room at front of the hotel overlooks the road and was noisy. We requested a change and hotel accommodated our request.

We had an amazing stay in Sorrento
Pros:

All the staff were super friendly and very helpful. The breakfast and the dinner menus had a great selection to choose from, and all the food was prepared perfectly. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was to the highest standard.

Cons:

I was disappointed that we had to pay for parking at the hotel.

A relaxing stay in a beautiful hotel
Pros:

A short stroll from the train station and in a quiet location. The room was nicely decorated and a good size with small balcony overlooking the orange trees. On arrival I booked a massage treatment which was wonderful while my husband wandered around the town. We ate in the restaurant two nights and both times the food was superb. Lovely bar and lots of relaxing seating areas and the decor throughout was beautiful and serene. Roof top swimming pool with loungers and amazing views plus a ground floor pool, although sadly it was too chilly in March to make use of these. A short walk to town with an abundance of shops, coffee bars and restaurants. We shall definitely return.

Cons:

The water pressure in the shower was very low, although it was a very small negative and did not impact on our stay.

Exceptional service and beautiful, clean hotel
Pros:

The moment we arrived, the staff was friendly and efficient. We were very happy with our exceptionally clean room, which was an upgrade from the basic room. The room was spacious with a beautiful balcony overlooking the garden. The included breakfast was wonderful with many delicious options. Make sure you take some time to visit the pool/bar area on the top floor. The views are spectacular during the day and in the evening!!

Cons:

It would have been nice to have some room in the refrigerator to chill our water bottles. The mini bar was packed with great options, but left little room to store our purchased items.

Perfect central Sorrento stay with exceptional staff and a warm, family-friendly touch
Pros:

Our stay at the Grand Hotel de la Ville was nothing short of exceptional. Perfectly located in the heart of Sorrento, it made exploring the area incredibly easy while still offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

The staff were outstanding, but a special mention must go to Rosalisa and Federica. They made such a genuine effort to greet our son George with a cheerful “ciao!” every morning and evening, which meant so much to us. Their warmth and kindness truly made our stay extra special—they are an exceptional asset to the team.

The hotel itself was immaculate, with cleanliness maintained to a very high standard throughout. Breakfast each morning was gorgeous, with plenty of choice and a lovely setting to start the day.

What really stood out was the overall atmosphere of the hotel—calm, welcoming, and effortlessly relaxing. It created the perfect environment to unwind after busy days exploring Sorrento.

Thank you to the whole team for such a memorable stay—we would return in a heartbeat!
