Pros:

急遽、喫煙室から禁煙室への変更を申し出たが、快くスタッフが対応してくださったので、快適に過ごせました。施設設備、ドリンク等は揃っていた。

Great location. Big room. Everything is easy and close.
Pros:

You can't ask for more in terms of location, when it's just next to the JR station. Extremely convenient access to convenience stores, malls, restaurants, Himeji castle and other sightseeing spots. We also had dinner at Teppanyaki Icho, one of the hotel restaurants. The experience was so great, with highly attentive services, traditional & high quality cooking and food, I just couldn't resist the Wagyu beef! The room is spacious, even with 3 beds, there's still a cozy sitting area. I'll just add that, if you want the castle view, you may need to reserve higher floors, I am not sure if it essentially mean the club rooms or not though. Also, the English speaking ability of staff are quite good which makes it a lot easier for travelers.

In short, my wife, daughter and I had a memorable time during our 2-night stay in Himeji, visiting castle in sakura season in Kimono, spending great time in the zoo with our daughter etc. Area around Tegarayama Heiwa Park is also a gem for kids, we enjoyed the playgrounds (with Sakura!) & aquarium so much, and it's so quickly accessible from the hotel with only one city train station apart. We won't hesitate to return and recommend the hotel.

Cons:

ワンハーモニーの特典が無くなったので姫路日航ホテルの魅力が減りました。古いけど特典があったので利用をしていましたが無くなれば近くのダイワロイネットほてるとかモントレーの方が綺麗だからそちらに変えます。
残念です。
