I have stayed at this property multiple times. It is close to PVG Terminal 1. They provide regular shuttle service to the airport. If you are up to it, you can walk to and from Terminal 1. It is consistently a great option on either end of a trip.
Business trip , hotel before flying home next day , expensive meals , good transfer
The location is very convenient with respect to the airport especially with the shuttle bus frequently available but that also makes it less convenient if one wishes to make frequent trips to downtown.

Love the location and breakfast. Our room was clean and there was surprisingly little noise for being so close to the airport. The price was great and it made making the flight super easy. This was our second time her and we will stay again!

The Ramada at Shanghai airport is about 10 minutes from the airport by their frequent and efficient free shuttle bus. The hotel is big and nice with a decent restaurant. Breakfast is good. My room was a good size and I didn’t hear any aircraft noise.

To cut long story short, I paid for 1 night stay at Ramada Plaza Shanghai Pudong through hotels.com on 12 April 2025. However, when I checked in the hotel insisted that they haven't received the money from hotels.com. We had to pay for the room again. The hotel double charged us. We tried to get our money back, but both hotels.com and Ramada Plaza Shanghai Pudong are not willing to communicate and solved the simple problem. Ramada Plaza promised that they will sort through the problem but up until today (11 May) there was still no communication with them. I had tried various ways to contact them (hotels.com message service, their hotel's email), but I received no reply at all. They had not refunded my money.
The hotel is close to the airport, so that noise is not avoided. However, the hotel may use multiple ways to reduce noise of the guest room, such double pane windows.
I had a flight arriving at 6am so I booked the night before so I could get a few hours of sleep after a long overnight flight. I informed them of this in advance. When I arrived it took them a very long time to check me in, and at one point they took another customer in the middle of helping me. I was exhausted and just wanted to sleep. I ended up only getting 2 hours before I needed to checkout for my tour. The room was nice though for the short amount of time I was able to use it.
